Bree’s POV
I was stunned to hear Nico’s voice with so much anger threatening me, but to hear my mate defend me and threaten Nico back, and then claim my baby to be his own. I am happy, happier than I ever was with Nico. Travis never lets me doubt myself, he is building me up and he loves me. Jade had stopped me to speak with me after I saw the doctor when we got back and told me about Travis being rejected. I felt so bad for how he was treated, and I was so glad that the Goddess gave him to me. I want to have him as my mate. This bond is strong. I would say it is even stronger than what I felt for Nico.
I thought Travis was cute from the first moment I saw him, and then I was disappointed that we were not mates. We were still friends, but I have to say that I was almost giddy
