I waited patiently for everyone to leave the office before treading up to Alana’s office. Thankfully, Heather didn’t want to approach me after what happened between us. Yeah, I did let things go a little too far, but I don’t regret it. I thought that Alana didn’t care about me anymore, so I reacted instinctively.
