Having her here, in the place I built over the last months in isolation, was something out of this world. The urge to kiss her, to make love to her is becoming overwhelming, and despite being mates, I am afraid that by doing so, things would spiral out of control.
I have been getting visions of our other lives. Once we were married, after a short period of happiness, it was destroyed by a dark figure who wanted her for him. One who wanted her for her powers, also wanted her to breed a pure race. I was afraid that by mating and marking her things would happen sooner. Somehow, I thought that maybe delaying it would prevent the final outcome.
