That night after the date with Sebastian, I couldn’t sleep due to so many reasons. My date with Sebastian had gone haywire.
It was unexpected.
That was the first time he had completely lost his cool around me. I sat down for a while, after he left, going over my options.
Why did I even agree to his proposal, knowing quite well the kind of monster he was? He didn’t even deny any of the allegations! My confrontation was a cue for him to stop pretending.
It took me a while longer to leave the restaurant, and Sebastian never came back for me. So much for a gentleman.
When I got home, I was haunted by what I did to Rowland. I was racked with so much guilt for how harshly I had treated him- The annoying part was Lucas wouldn’t even speak to me.
