Catherine. I sighed in frustration, as I emptied the 5th unrecognizable piece of pancake into the waste bin. I had been trying for the past hour to make simple pancakes, but my efforts have all led to futility. Sweat trickled down my forehead, as a feeling of tiredness, accompanied by a strange feeling of dizziness enveloped me, causing me to panic. The last time I had felt this way, I found out some days later that I was carrying Rowland’s seed. I just hoped for both our sakes that if I was pregnant this time, it should be for Sebastian. I was certain that giving him an heir would solidify our relationship. I smiled for a while, at the thought of carrying Sebastian’s baby, but that smile soon vanished when the smell of burnt pancakes filled the air, as the fire alarm went off. Good
