“Mummy!” Clara screamed as she ran towards me.
“Clara?” I quizzed, stunned at first as to who she was but the moment I recollected myself, I ran and met her halfway and wrapped my hands around her for a tight hug.
Holding her right there made me realize just how much I have missed her. All the emotions I thought I had long buried flooded to the surface.
My baby.
I noticed the moment we hugged, she started sobbing and I gently soothed her as she sobbed into my shoulders. Even though I had so many questions as to what was wrong, and why she was there, I figured that was not the time. It took a while before she finally calmed now.
Using my thumbs I wiped off her eyes and smiled warmly at her.
“I missed you so much,” she said wrapping her hands all over me again.
