The next day

"Abducting me and burning my car was not needed, Aiden," Venessa said while staring at the young man with a sharp jaw and steel grey eyes while he was getting ready for the hospital. He smirked after hearing her, "Why? Were you scared?"

"What happened to Ava?" Venessa asked, ignoring his question when Aiden’s eyebrows squinted in surprise, "Really? Are you still interested in knowing that?

What the heck is wrong with you, Venessa? This is why you walked out of the house? To kill yourself and your child!" Aiden snapped at his sister furiously because the moment he got to know from her shadow guards that Ava had woken up and Venessa went to the hospital, Aiden felt his soul leave his body, and thankfully, she got back her mind at the right time, or else he can't imagine what would have happened!

Venessa stayed silent as she knew she deserved it all. With the pride that she left her house for Dylan, she is feeling more ashamed to face her brother, who begged her not to leave them for a guy who doesn't deserve her.

"She didn't die. Dylan got a heart worth 20 million from the black market." Aiden said and sat back in his seat when Venessa smirked.

"You didn't tell grandfather about it, right_" Venessa couldn't even complete her words when someone slammed the door open and walked inside with a majestic aura and dark, gloomy face with a man following him.

And that's it immediately Alexander's eyes turned soft, and his body turned numb as just by hearing her name, his heart started pounding rapidly, and he asked me in a soft, lost tone, "What about her?"

Hearing the soft tone of his boss, Ben immediately turned towards him and instantly said, "Sir, Ms. Rosalie left Dylan Wang last night, and the most shocking part is her name is not Rosalie, she is Venessa, VENESSA KNIGHT, the sole granddaughter of the Grand Marshal Robert Knight!"

After two weeks

Venessa was staring at the giant television as she saw how Dylan, his parents, and siblings were shredding fake tears to get sympathy from the public at her funeral! They created the funeral so that Dylan could marry Ava without anyone's question.

"Why are you watching this nonsense again, Venessa? Didn't Mamma tell you to stop!" Clara said from behind when Venessa said, "Mom, it doesn't bother me anymore."

"It shouldn't be." Adiel said and walked inside the house when Venessa immediately kept her hands in front of him and said, "Is the work done?"

Aiden scoffed and said, "You don't care about your brother but your papers! Are you really my sister?"

Venessa rolled her eyes at him, and she was about to say something when another voice rang from behind, "I might kill that boy tonight. Why did you invite him? He dared to hurt my granddaughter!"

"Dad, it was Venessa's request, and you trust her, right? She is my strong child. She'll handle everything tonight." William told his father when he noticed his daughter standing in front of them.

"Princess," he called her when Venessa smiled and hugged him tightly, "I'm no longer that Venessa who left everything, Dad.

I promise I'll make sure to make them pay for everything they did, no matter who it is!" With that, she winked at he grandfather, who helplessly smiled at his grandchild.

William smiled and said, "I know, and I trust my princess, but now go and get ready; the banquet will begin in a few hours."
