Rhys Pov I sighed, setting my bags on the ground beside the rock, and stared at the crystal water in front of me. The sun was starting to set as we finally found a waterfall, the water lazily lapping back and forth against the rocks as the waterfall turned the water around and around. “I don’t know about you, but I’m jumping in,” I said, pulling my shirt over my head and throwing it onto the rock. Sage has been fairly quiet most of the day, lost in his thoughts, and I’ve been trying my best to keep him happy. To keep smiling, to keep talking, to keep distracting him. I wasn’t really sure what he was thinking about, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was his sister. From the little bit of information he’s told me, they’re the only two kids in the family, and they’re best friends. I love J
