Gasping for air, I stepped out of the teleportation array, the familiar orbs made out of light magic decorating the once barren cave is what greeted me.

"My lady!" Elise held my hand to help me sit because I'm limping after stepping out of the teleportation array. Her face showed both worry and relief, her hair now longer than it was one month ago is somewhat messy, it's easy to understand that she's been running her hand on her hair from time to time. "You've been inside for ten hours my lady." She informed me. Ten hours? I felt like I was inside for months, damn. That was one tricky dimension.

Elise placed her palm in front of me and started chanting with her eyes closed. I can't help but smile while looking at her, she looks the same but her aura changed. She still has innocence in her face and facial expression but her eyes look sharper and knowing.

The growth and change that occurred to her within this cave are eminent. One month, it took her one month to become thing strong, I wonder how strong Elise will become?

After healing me, Elise sat in front of me, staring at me almost unblinking.

"What?" I ask.

"Are we leaving, my lady? One month is over."

I hummed a response. Indeed, one month has passed but we can't leave yet, not yet, not until Aya speak to me again. Ever since we arrived and after I asked for the scrolls and spells that Elise, Blake, and Eufema need, Aya, the entity disappeared. I kind of expected that, what I did not expect is that even after completing the one-month challenge— which by the way, I believed I passed— Aya did not show up again. It's been already a week already!

Elise must have seen how deep my frown is because she did not say anything and silently wait for Blake and Eufema to arrive. Those two stayed outside the cave for days, I wonder how they are.

"How many days have they been outside again?"

"Eight days my lady."

I nodded my head. More than a week huh. My mind is jumbled because of the time differences between the dimension I just came from and the current time zone.

While waiting for Blake and Eufema, I entered my own dimension, the dimension inside the tattoo on my middle finger, I don't know how this happened but after my last training and when I check the strength of my magic energy using the magic energy quantifying orb and proved that I reached the last level and also considered the strongest level, Distinguished, I was transported into this dimension.

Once again, I entered the familiar wooden interior of the house in this dimension filled with bottles, scrolls, and different weapons on each side, the second floor filled with books, there are also bookshelves on this floor.

I turn to my right, it's where the herbs, orbs, cores, and ores are along with a huge red alchemy pot. There are three holes on the arch of its lid and a small square-shaped door-like design. I've seen this somewhere. Isn't this thing used for alchemy?

I remember reading Chinese manga once back then and it so happens that the story is about an alchemist, although this thing is called cauldron when I read it.

I wonder what's the difference between the two?

[Cauldron is used by witches in creating potions while alchemy pot is used by alchemist to make pills. Cauldron often time does not have cover and functions using normal fire while alchemy pot is used using magic energy.]

The familiar golden letter appeared out of nowhere in front of my very face making me jump in surprise.

"You're back, Aya!"

[I am. Forgive me for my late arrival, I had matters to settle.]

I internally cringe. That's just so formal. Her speech pattern makes me think that I am talking to a being hundreds or even thousands of years older than I am.

"So that's why. Well, now that you're back, why don't you tell me where in the world I am?" I ask straightforwardly.

Aya too answered without second thoughts.

My eyes widen. Holy s**t! This is void of magic? I mean, the real void of magic and it's not just an illusionary space but another world? Another dimension?

I audibly gasp. "That news is shooking me. Seriously!"

Aya asks. I feel like if she's in front of me, she would be rolling her eyes at me because of how stupid I look. Maybe.

"Shoot."

[This world is called Luxes. Void of Magic is only a part of this world. Having complete access to this world enables you to have everything in this world as yours. I gulp while reading that. This... this feels like some overpowered game-like cheat! Holy heck! Come on, I can already turn this world upside down if I want to! I can also leave Pralea and just stay here for the rest of my life and become a hermit! Should I consider that one of my life goals?

"Is there anything else you'd like to say?" I ask, hoping. A girl, a greedy girl like me can only hope. Hehe!

Rewards, who the heck does not want rewards? Of course, it's not me. I looooove rewards bitches. After all the shits I've been through in this entire month and also just a while back, I will own all those rewards! The heck with being frugal or abstemious. Call me gluttonous or desirous who cares. Not me.

"Shower me with rewards. I'm ready!!!" I exclaimed with closed eyes and open arms. I have already declared my love for money so what's the point of pretending. Duh!

"Types of Scattered Magic." I mumbled to myself.

Scattered Magic is another classification of magic aside from elemental magic. Basically, these are types of magic outside of the elements.

The book flipped itself, the letters from the book flew in front of me, floating, almost dancing.

The words formed are the said magic from this classification, there is even an explanation for me to properly understand the magic.

Clairvoyance or foresight, well, that sounds reliable though it sounds scary. I have always feared having the ability to see the unwanted, and I don't think I'm ready to see or predict the future. Let me consider that next time.

Telekinesis, the magic that enables a person to move something just by thinking, sounds good too but I'm not interested in this magic too much. Although it's useful because you don't need to cast a spell for this magic, in my case, I don't even need to cast spells too, almost, but I'm close to non-casting my elemental magic. Again, let me consider this magic next time.

Ritual magic, this magic is strong in its own suite and has its own uniqueness since this magic is ridiculously rare. Damn, I want this but this is too complex, long, detailed, and elaborate. According to its note, a person who possesses this type of magic needs to learn and memorize spells and rites. The heck, no matter how rare and strong this magic is, it's too complicated for my brain cells. Memorizing spells and also magic circle to make an array, look, just how complex this is. Although you will learn how to make magic circles, arrays, talismans, and curses, this magic itself hold a bigger scope and very useful! Very strong too because there are limited people with this type of magic.

Damn, now I want it so bad!

No no no, I need to think carefully, let me check some other magic.

I examined the other types of magic listed and they all arouse my interest so much that right now I'm kneeling on the ground holding my head in hopes of it being able to help me decide. Who does not want hypnosis magic, just a small eye to eye contact can make other people obey you, chronomancy, the ability to manipulate time, who in their right mind would reject that magic right? It's an OP magic! OP means overpowered by the way. Necromancy is also listed there, gosh, that's one kind of scary but strong magic too!

I don't know what to choose anymore! I need help!

All of the sudden, the words around me disappeared and only one sentence remained

Huh? Summoning magic? What?

I know this magic is strong on its own but I don't see the point of summoning another creature from somewhere unknown when you can hire a beast or monster tamer that will help you create a pact with the beasts or monsters in this world? My goodness, why do you need to trouble yourself? I definitely don't want to trouble myself that's why I'd rather choose ritual magic. Summoning magic? Thank you, next.

With that announcement, my body glowed and wrapped in a gray color, it felt warm as if someone is embracing me, from warm it felt... hot, as if the sun itself is embracing me.

I blink and almost fell on my knees with the... creature in front of me.

"What the fu...ck?" I gasp.

That b***h, Aya, she never told me that she will place me somewhere else! Why the heck did she not inform me?! If she did, I might not be panicking right now to the point where I want to pee myself without a care of the little dignity left in me after my knees gave away!

Who wouldn't want to faint if in front of you is a gigantic dragon who possesses two golden horns with its golden spherical eye and its black vertical pupil staring directly at me! Mother of all bitches, it's huge! I probably look like a child, no, maybe an ant to its eye. It's as tall as one of the renowned buildings back on Earth and although it did not spread its wings, its metallic black scales are intimidating. It can hide from naked eyes in the dark night if it wants to, that's how dark its scales are.

If that's not enough yet, it flapped its wings sending a violent wind my way, if I did not use wind magic to protect myself from the pressure, I might have been thrown to another universe.

After flapping its wings, black and gold light covered it, in the blink of my eye, from being a gigantic one, it became smaller, kind of because apparently, compared to it I'm still small but at least it doesn't look that huge making it a little less intimidating.

It now stood five or six feet from my 5'4 height.

"I am Alarkson, human."

It... spoke.

Oh, my f*****g gosh! It spoke! That was surprising but I wouldn't deny talking to a dragon feels scary but exciting at the same time! It makes me feel like I'm a blessed and important person because knowing the dragons, they're all legendary so talking to one, and it introduced itself first, man, I feel that I'm an important nobody!

I cleared my throat. "I'm Jozine, Zaire, Jozaire, you can call me Zaire." I should settle my identity once and for all.

"That's enough, Alarkson." A feminine voice spoke and from behind the standing dragon, fiery red wings flew, its three long feathered tail in flames and three feathers on its head are like on fire too because of how intense red it is.

This... this all red, fiery, and on flames bird, this is a phoenix, right?

Why is there another legendary being in front of me?

"I am called Vana. A pleasure to finally meet you." It introduced itself too!

"Za... Zaire, I'm Zaire..." I stammered. The phoenix flew and sat on the dragon, I mean on Alarkson.

Out of nowhere, something appeared in front of me again.

My eyes widen that it already is upon seeing another legendary creature.

What the heck...

"Call me Kiera. Honored to meet you, Mistress!" It, she bowed. Her golden-brown nine tails are wagging cheerily. It looks satisfying.

"I am Siren. The great water spirit, pleasure to make your acquaintance, Mistress." The woman, water woman beside Keira the size of my palm said with a bow.

Unknown what to do, I bowed too. What can I do, I'm in the presence of these legendary beings and they all introduced themselves at me, they even called me Mistress but I still don't know what's happening here!

Ayaaaaaa! Where are you!!!!!

I need help my goodness, enlighten my dumb self because I'm undeniably clueless.

As if she heard me, someone spoke. "I am Aya. For now, I cannot join you, however, those four, Alarkson, a borne true dragon, Vana the ancient phoenix, Kiera the nine-tailed earth fox and Siren, the great water spirit, they are your familiars tasked to accompany you in your journey."

Familiar? These legendary creatures are my familiars? My god, they are tens or hundreds of times stronger than I am and I'm their Mistress? Can I bow to them instead?

Without saying anything, all four of them bowed making me gasp!

"This familiar greets Mistress!!!" They said in unison.

I wanted to stop them but choose not to, what can I do, it's what they want to do. I'd rather let them do what they want than get on their nerves.

Gosh, these are my familiars? How am I supposed to handle these creatures, on the brighter side, they're all strong, I don't need to worry too much about my safety but I have to keep a low profile. These creatures are legends, one of them is enough to shake Magia so I have to establish rules.

I nod to myself. I can establish rules right? I hope these beings don't mind, especially the dragon and the phoenix, these two intimidates the shits out of me.

"I...uh, you know that you all are legendary beings so if you can, please keep a low profile, can you transform or something?" I ask unsure while looking at them.

"Transforming to a lesser being is humiliating, but, if that is what the Mistress desires, I, Alarkson, shall comply." A poof sounded, next thing I know, Alarkson transformed into a black lizard with two horn and wings. He flew towards me and settled on my shoulder. "Is this acceptable, Mistress?" He asks.

I glance at him and nodded my head. "You're looking good that way."

He jutted his chin. "I am always good-looking. I am an honorable, great true dragon after all!"

I awkwardly chuckle, surprised by how confident he is but he has the right to be like that so I'll just let him be.

Vana transformed into a red ordinary bird retaining one of her long and red feather tail. She too laid on the other side of my shoulder. I smiled at her when she looks at me, silently, she nods her head.

Confirmed, Vana is the bird of few words.

Kiera transformed herself into a brown fox with her green eyes, she looks smaller to, like the size of a cat because in her original state as a nine-tailed fox, she has the size of a grown ordinary dog, she has the same size of a husky.

Damn, she looks cute I'm having a hard time controlling myself!

Kiera walks towards me, nudging me feet, unable to stop myself, I took her and carried her while petting her. Kyaaah! Her furs feel soft! Damn, so satisfying!

Kiera purred while I'm petting her that's why I can't help but laugh. She looks adorable, Elise will surely enjoy spoiling this little fox.

Siren, the water spirit did not do much, she remained her usual self except for her color, because her body is made of water, she took the liberty to transform herself into a human, well, she tried but she ended up being a miniature human version. In short, right now, she looks like a fairy except the wings and the fairy dust.

"You look cute too, Siren." I complimented. Because she's small, she settled on Kiera's body that I'm currently petting and laid there casually. I chuckle because Kiera visibly frown when she felt Siren sleeping on her body. I can just say that Siren is a fairy, although they are rare, they are known by everyone and lives along with the elves, just like elves, they also live in seclusion so it's not that difficult to reason Siren as a fairy.

"Now that you've meet them, it's time to return, your... companions are waiting for you." That's Aya's voice.

I almost nodded my head when I remembered about Jozine. "How about what you told me before? About Jozine?"

"Jozine Vesaurius, of course I remember about her however, she is currently asleep, even I do not know when her soul will awaken. Do not worry, the moment she wakes up, I shall let the two of you talk."

Her soul is sleeping? Does soul sleep?

Oh well, I quietly nodded my head. I wanted to ask her, I have a lot of question for Aya and Jozine but hearing the dismissive sound of Aya's voice, maybe next time.

I am placing a lot of trust on Aya, although there are warning bells on my head, Aya never harmed me. Considering how powerful and knowledgeable she is, if she wanted to hurt me she might have done that already. In terms of her purpose for helping me, I don't think she will tell me anytime soon but I might have an idea for her to tell me everything. If I became strong, strong enough to reach her standards, she might tell me her purpose but that's for next time, for now, I must go back and wait for Jozine to wake up, I hope she wakes up soon. I really need to talk to her.

"We're going back." I announced to my familiars. "It's time for you to meet my friends." I tell them looking forward to seeing Blake and Eufema too. I wonder if her bossy attitude changed while staying outside the cave for days? Ugh I hope she's a little less bossy now than before, I swear she gives me headache all the freaking time.
