The Luna Sings

Chapter 7

*It was Friday and they wanted to go dancing, and they, didn't let me use the excuse of Tye not being here to get out of it. "I'm only wearing jeans,'' I say as I pout at not having my way.

"Okay, you don't have to wear a dress this time, but jeans are going to make you hot, so just wear shorts" I grab a pair of knee length basketball shorts to tease her. "Amaya no!" I chuckle at her reaction. ''I know'' I say as I grab a pair shorts.

"Wait, I don't want them seeing my legs," "But you can't wear any of the outfits from Yaya," "We don't know how long he's been watching you," I grab a pair of black leggings and a black crop top and a jean jacket. Then I ruffle my hair and put on some lip gloss. Teagan whistles. "Oh come on," "You're the hot one in this relationship," I say causing her to giggle.

I decide to braid my hair to the side, then, I curl Teagan's hair with a curling iron. "Ben is going to flip," I say as she looks in the mirror. She has on a lime green dress that comes below her thigh and black platform heels. Her makeup is light as well, a little natural eyeshadow and red lips.

We have to meet them at the club, and, I'm happy my dad was not home to see us leave. He would have asked us all kinds of questions, and I didn't want to lie and say that we were going to the karaoke bar.

I put my shoes on at the club, since I, couldn't drive with them on. Then I let Teagan lead me inside and I don't look at the boys' reaction of seeing me out of my usual get up.

"Wow, you look amazing!'' says Raegan. ''Let's dance!" "Uhh," I say trying to think of an excuse. "Let her get a drink first," says Zair. "She hasn't even warmed up the seat," (Eww, don't even think about my butt warming up the seat) I think to my self, at least I thought, until Zair starts laughing.

I blush and I look towards the exit and think about escaping. Teagan has Ben to take her home. "I like you," he says through our link. I close my link to block him. He looks surprised and hurt, but I'm not opening it back up. (Maybe later)

"Are you blushing,?" asks Raegan with a smile. "I don't know how to blush'' I say dryly, realizing his arm around me. ''Amaya loves Raegan, Amaya loves Raegan," chants Ben. "I like him, but I, don't know about love," "Like, is a good start" he says as he hold gets tighter.

"Please, stop," I say taking his arm off of me. "I like you and Zair and Ben we're good friends," "Aww, I thought I was special," "You are, to your mom'' I say with a smile. "I'm sorry, I couldn't help it," at first he looks sad and then he smiles and shakes his head.

"I need to use the restroom," I say before he can say anything, then I, slide out of the booth and go to the restroom.

I look in the mirror and take my hair down. "I want to go home," I say to my reflection. "These are not magic mirrors Amaya," says Teagan as she giggles. ''Relax, maybe drink something," I smile as I think about it.

''You looked like you were about to bolt for the doors, at any second," "You know me, so well," ''Please don't leave me, like you usually do'' I look at her guiltily. ''I'm sorry, I figured you'd be fine with Big Ben," "I am, but, I want you there too, besides they always talk about you" "That's what I'm afraid of, I don't want them to know about me,"

"You don't have to tell them about yourself, you just get to know them," "Okay, but, they keep touching me and you know I don't like people touching me," "Hurt them, that's what you usually do," I nod as I smile.

They smile as we walk to the table with huge smiles of our own. "Where is Tammy?" I ask, surprising Zair. "Uh... she's coming later," "Are you sure, because, that didn't sound too convincing?'' I ask causing him to chuckle.

"Can I speak with you, alone,?" I say to Raegan. "Sure!" he says sitting up. "Why alone,?" asks Zair. "Well not alone, but away from everyone here" "Let's dance," I suggest. "Okay, lead the way," he says as he slides out after me.

"I really don't like to be touched, Raegan'' "Until I, know if you are my mate, I can't let you touch me and, even then, I might need some time'' "No man has ever touched me and it feels weird''

"I know, I just feel so comfortable with you," "You are the total opposite of me," "You're funny, fun, and care free and I'm always stressed and everything has to be perfect," he says as he runs his fingers through his perfectly groomed hair.

"I think we're more alike than you think," I laugh. "I spend most of my time stressed and obsessing over everything too," "How you guys find me fun or funny still surprises me'' I say shrugging. "Well we can be stressed together" he says as he shrugs.

"Hey you're supposed to be dancing," laughs Ben, linking us at the same time. I shrug and start doing silly dances. The classics; the sprinkler, the twist, the vogue, the cabbage patch, the Macarena, the disco finger, and the robot. Everyone laughs, and surprisingly I have fun dancing.

Teagan dances for Ben, but, it's different when you're mates. Zair dances with Tammy, but, he stops her when she tries to get too close, or when she does dirty dances. (Trouble in paradise) I think to myself. He looks at me and smiles. (Damn it, is my link back open to him?)

I look away and Raegan spins my around, then he, rolls me out. I put my hand up when he rolls me back in, then I tap his chest, causing him to laugh. ''Sorry, I forgot," "It's okay," I say grabbing both of his hands, so that, he won't forget again. He smiles and twists his hands, so that he is holding mine again. (Who is this guy, James bond Jr.?)

After a while, I talk him into taking a seat, because I haven't had a sip of my drink. ''This is nice," I say after I try it. ''It's non alcoholic'' says Raegan. "Okay, thanks," I say since I didn't know what to order. "We can't have you getting grounded," says Zair with a smirk.

"Yeah, I could murder someone, and I wouldn't get grounded, because my parent's aren't strict, they're nosey," I say causing them to laugh. ''If me and Teagan were passed out on my front porch with a yard full of pigs, they'd laugh and ask us what happened," "Yep, they are the coolest, which is, why I basically I live there," says Teagan to the wide eyed guys and Tammy.

"Has that ever happened,?" asks Raegan. "Nope," I say with a smile, as Teagan giggles. "What happened?!" asks Zair. "It was our first time getting drunk'' says Teagan. "Teags," I whisper. "Come on, don't leave us hanging!" says Ben. I shrug, when she looks at me.

"We don't remember every detail'' she says truthfully. "We remember wanting to try margaritas and we used two bottles of tequila from my pantry" I say with a smile, as I, remember. ''It was so sweet, it tasted like juice," says Teagan.

''We sang, danced, and laughed, and then, I remember being surrounded by pigs," "It was awesome, we got to play with the babies, but it smelled," says Teagan causing them to laugh.

''Hey doesn't your dad have some of it on video,?" she says remembering. "They will only get what we can remember," "Alpha Zair may be able to pull some strings," says Ben looking at a smiling Zair. ''Then I won't tell you," I say shrugging.

"Okay, fine," he says pouting. "You don't need to see it, we were in our PJ's,'' I say while looking at my drink, to avoid their eyes. "Oh, no, after yo-!'' "Never mind," she says remembering. She almost let it slip that I shifted. (This was a bad idea)

"Finish the story," says Mr. Alpha Jr.. "We ran into another territory and somehow got the pigs to follow us all the way to my yard," "They didn't press any charges, because, my parents went with yours to talk with the Alpha and Luna," I say looking at an overly interested Zair.

"My dad was so proud,'' ''He said that he used to do stuff like that all the time when he was younger," I say with a smile. "You're really close with your dad?" asks Zair. "I'm close with both of my parents and my brother, so don't try anything," I say as I look at the three of them, causing them to laugh, but I'm serious.

"Wait, my parents never told me this," says Zair. "I'm sure you were busy," I say looking at Tammy with a smirk, which he didn't find funny, but she smiles and blushes.

"My dad probably told your dad to keep it a secret, and since, when does our Alpha report everything to his son,?" I ask as I cross my arms. I look at Teagan. "I told you Teags'' ''Alphas, they think that everyone answers to them," I link to her. She giggles causing everyone to look at her.

"Well it was nice seeing you guys outside of school, but, it's time for me to go home," I say taking the attention off of her. "But you said you don't get in trouble," says Zair. "I don't, but I think I've had enough fun for today," I say flipping my hair. (Where did that come from?)

"We'll walk you to your car," says Raegan as everyone slides out of the booth. "You guys never walk me to my car," says Tammy as we walk towards the exit. ''Because you always ride with us," says Zair. "Yeah and you get the Beta's seat," says Ben holding in a laugh. "How do you put up with them,?" I ask, before I realize it.

"We're not that bad are we,?" asks Raegan. "I guess not, but I'm only used to Teagan, and I'm not used to being hit on" "Yes you are, but you usually just hit back," laughs Teagan, causing everyone to laugh.

"Bye guys," "Bye Benny," says Teagan when we get to my car, as she smiles at him. "If you want you can ride home with Ben," "No, because, he rode with them and you'll be alone" "I promise, I'll be fine, but he won't be'' I whisper.

"I'll see you tomorrow for auditions, okay,'' "Okay," she says while giving me a hug. "Thank you," says Ben linking me. "No problem bro," I say before I open my door to get into my car.
