I stare at Jackson with a frown, not sure how to react or what to say.
"You know.. I don't remember any of that.. And even if I did.. We were just kids. Kids do stupid things. I'm sorry if I wasn't the best behaved child but that didn't give you the right to judge me the way you did. I never did anything to you to warrant the way you treated me. You insulted me, you tried to turn my mate against me.. You stood up for a girl that mentally attacked my son and me more than once without ever even considering she was the problem."
I look at down at my hands..
"I accepted the challenged you issued because I wanted to prove to everyone here, mostly you, that I'm here to stay, that I'm not weak and I don't run away when things get hard. And it cost me something precious.
