After breakfast Treasure, Qaletaqa, Richard, and Daniel went to the stagecoach office. Richard is meeting with several men to take over Maury’s position. He’s also waiting for a reply from President Hunley. He thought about sending a telegram to Gil Young but thought it would be best to speak with the President first. Last night Treasure told him not to leave again unless they were at home. She doesn’t like him traveling when she and Qaletaqa aren’t there. He laughs when she warns him not to accept any more jobs without discussing it with her.
