Anemone is a fairy stepping outside her Fae village to know more about all other species living out there, following the footsteps of her friend Poppy and elder sister Adelina. She is kind-hearted and innocent out in the ruthless high school where everyone finds her as the weird girl with a turnoff bun until the school heartthrob and most popular boy Mason sets his eyes upon her. Her simplicity attracts him towards her even though he knows everything about him is toxic for this innocent, charming, sweet faery.

On the other end, Fenris, the next-to-be-alpha of the werewolf pack and the other most popular boy of the school, starts showing interest in her after learning that she is his true mate after the wolf moon ritual. He is determined to get her, even though he is late.

It is a fairy tale with a nice twist where the true magic is the kiss of true love. Let's read to find out who is her prince charming.

I warn you. It is the kind of sweet love story where a girl meets a boy and love blooms.

"Don't pout like that. Good girl's don't pout." Mason chuckled. How is he going to avoid this charming fairy? She is too stubborn. Too diabetic. He was a broken boy, and she was too sweet. He knew she deserved better, but his heart was failing to understand that simple logic.

"Or what?" Anemone suddenly jumped in front of him with a fake, big pout.

But only if Anemone knew what she was doing to him, she will blush. She would stop showing those heroics, Mason thought. But on second thought, he knew her better. A light smile spread across his face as her heart skipped a beat.

When the car stopped at Alex's porch, Anemone could not wait to get out. But Fenris grabbed her wrist again, sending those tingling vibes that she wanted to forget. How was she even feeling about those?

"I Anemone, a Fae, rej-" Anemone had only begun speaking the word 'reject' when Fenris did the bizarre thing.

Fenris could not think of anything else but to kiss her, to stop her from rejecting him so outrageously.

#1 The Wong Proposal
Anemone was determined. He was going to propose Fenris today. She has been secretly harboring all those feelings from the first day of her school. Fenris had been kind enough to help her around the school as a tour guide. She knew he was a werewolf and she was a Fae, but that did not stop her from admiring him. He had sturdy built with strong muscles. He was the school soccer captain. A lot of girls fancied him. She knew the names by heart now. But it didn't faze her determination. After all, she was a Fae, and speaking the truth was a part of their nature. The world was changing, and more inter-species relations were happening. Wasn't she the one who insisted on coming to this school, leaving her Fae school? So she has to give up her fear and face her feelings. She felt ready like never before. "Are you sure, Ane?" asked Poppy, her only friend who was a Fae too. It was weird that there were very few fairies in the school compared to other species, including humans. "I am certain of it, Poppy. I have to follow my heart." Ane simpered. She blushed when she saw Fenris walking over to his locker in his soccer jersey. It loosely hung to his muscular chest and gave a nice view of his biceps. "And you are definite you can compete with that?" Poppy popped up her eyes while pointing her fingers towards the head cheerleader of the school, Olivia. Ane sighed for a brief second. Olivia was the most beautiful girl in the entire school. There were so many handsome guys. Why was she stuck with Fenris after she broke up with the football team's captain? She had this soft, shiny olive skin that would make any man fall for her charms. She was tall with a toned body. No wonder she was the head cheerleader. "I have to try. Everyone knows how shallow Olivia is. It is all superficial. She hardly gets through her papers when I get straight As." Ane stuttered. She tried to be as convincing as she could be, but Olivia was way out of her league. Right now, she was laughing and sharing some jokes with Fenris. Her perfectly glowing skin and healthy hairs were worth dying to have. She wondered how a human was so flawless? All in all, she was smoking hot. "Ane, I am your friend. Your only friend. So when I say it is risky, you must listen. We don't want a broken heart and a long school year." Poppy warned her for one last time. But Anemone was determined. She must say it to him. The more she delayed, the more Fenris would likely get involved with someone. He was single now. It was her chance. Before Poppy could stop her, Anemone was walking past her and others, straight towards Fenris with the brightest Fae smile possible. "Fenris, look!" Olivia hinted towards Ane. Fenris was surprised to see the fairy he had toured on his first day approaching him with a gigantic smile on her face. It was some dare given to him, and he had to be her tour guide that day. He wondered if she found out that or if she was crushing over him. It looked like the second case. She looked cute, but nothing compared to Olivia. "Why is she coming for you, dude?" One of Fenris's friends hit him in the elbow to confirm. Fenris was in a dilemma himself. He was unsure what business the weird fairy had with him. But he still pulled a smile as there was no reason why he should be rude to her, yet. "Hi." Anemone smiled from ear to ear flashing her perfect pearl teeth. She raised her hand for a small wave towards Fenris. The other boys were almost giggling at that. Were they still seven or something? But Fenris stayed still. He replied to her with a smile of his own. There was no reason why he should be mean to her just for saying hi. "I am Anemone. We share history and maths classes." She introduced. It was long back when he had helped her. So she was not sure if he remembered her. So it was only polite of her to give him some information. "I know. It is hard to miss." Fenris smiled, looking at her purple hair tied to a big bun. Anemone giggled at that. So he has noticed her. That was a good start. "What brought you to me ...? I am sorry, I don't know your name," Fenris asked. "Oh! Its Anemone. A purple flower." She guffawed. It wasn't necessary to say the last part, but she felt the need to tell it. After all, he noticed her hair color. He should know! "Umm... That's a nice name. So what brings you here, Anemone?" Fenris gurgled. It was getting interesting for him. He had already guessed what it was about, but he was still finding it all amusing. It was the first time for him when a fairy was approaching him. "I- I- I-" Anemone blushed as she tried to find the right words. She was almost pink now. "What is it, Ane baby? Is someone crushing over our captain?" Olivia chuckled. Anemone was not sure how to react to that. She wasn't making any wrong faces, yet her demeanor was very negative. "I... I should go." Anemone blurted. His friends were intruding and hissing. Olivia had an evil smirk on, and Fenris was not stopping them. She had a sudden urge to leave that place. But the giggles from the boys behind Fenris and that weird smile plastered on his face, and specially Oliva, towering over her small petite figure, continued to torment her. Maybe Poppy was correct all along. She should have waited for at least the school to be over. There were too many people here. It was not the right time. "No, wait. I apologize for my friends' behavior. Please stay and finish your sentence." Fenris reached for her hands as he requested for her to complete her words. Anemone was too simple to see through the words and the actions. She could only see Fenris asking his friends to stay silent and his encouraging words for her. Suddenly her confidence was back. She was a fairy. So there should be nothing that should stop her from speaking the truth. "Thank you." She purred as she decided to stay back and finish what she started. "Continue," Fenris encouraged. "I think I like you. Will you go on a date with me?" Anemone did not stutter or blabber through her lines this time. She was not sure why but she felt as if Fenris was different than what Poppy thought. He was popular, but also, he was kind. But it was something that she was going to regret a second later. Fenris burst into a peal of weird laughter. It was so amusing that he was having a hard time even standing without Olivia's help, who was too laughing her stomach out. The boys were having their pun. At first, Anemon thought Fenris was happy. But she was quick enough to understand all this was a mere amusement for them. She was a part of their fun morning. They were mocking her. Tears began to well in her eyes, and before she could know, she was crying. "Oh! Look. She is already crying. How naive these fairies can be! So dumb!" Olivia spoke as she pressed her stomach to control her laughter. "Fenris, dating the dumb fairy. How weird." Some boy from behind joked. Anemone's heart broke into pieces. She wanted to run and hide her face forever. But it was as if she got glued to that place, and she was cursed to hear those insults and loud laughs. "Wait! Anemia- What kind of name is even that! Don't get us wrong or anything, but they are right. You are dumb to think someone like me would date you. You are the weird girl with that hair and clothes. I hope it was a dare or something and not that you think you can date me." Fenris blabbered in between his gasps, laughs, and tithers. Anemone was crying a river until Poppy dragged her out from there. She was glad she did that. Along with her face and courage, she had lost her energy. "Ane, I told you." Poppy scolded her. But she was kind enough to walk her out of that horrible place. That day Anemone missed her first class as she cried her heart out in a corner in the library. She wanted to go back to her old school, to her friends. Why had she forced her parents to come here? "Who is crying over there?" She heard a husky voice approaching her. She quickly wiped out her tears as it was enough humiliation for one day. She didn't wish anyone else to look at her like that and make fun of her. She wanted to escape, but unluckily she was sitting at the dead end. There was no way she could avoid the stranger. "I am just leaving." She wailed. But it was already too late. A tall boy with baby blue eyes and messy hair was standing in front of her. If Fenris was handsome, he was a god. Who creates such handsome men? Was he at liberty when he was making this guy standing in front of her? And just like that, Anemone had forgotten Fenris. She could not help but admire the beauty in front of her. "Are you the one crying?" The boy asked as he looked at her puffy red eyes with concern. "No." She lied, but then her fairy instincts kicked in. "Yes." She whispered. "I could not hear you. I am a human if you must know." The boy said. "I am sorry. I mean, yes, I was crying." Anemone said, blushing and also feeling guilty. "Why? Do people come these days to the library to cry?" He raised his eyebrow, making him more handsome if that was possible. "No. It's just that I am more comfortable here." Anemone found herself talking with this stranger boy. Who was he even? He was inside the library, so he has to be from school. "Interesting. How are you in your studies?" He asked, raising his eyes and looking at her hopefully. "Umm, anything below A is bad?" She wasn't sure why someone would ask that. "Great. So now, will you tell me why are you crying?" The boy asked earnestly. "Why do you care?" She queried. "So that we can have a deal. You teach me so that I can pass my exams and retain my captaincy, and you tell me who made you cry so that I can take your revenge for you." The boy offered as if it was a square deal. Anemone looked at him with a blank expression. Who was he? He did look like a thug with his torn jeans and tattoos. And why would she want any revenge? She was a fairy. They forgive. "I don't want revenge." She trilled. "Then what do you want, the fairy girl?" He insisted that some sort of deal should happen between them. It seemed important to him. "You teach me how I can be good enough to be date ready, and I will teach you so that you can have good grades." She was suddenly smiling from ear to ear with newfound hope. She can not be a dumb fairy forever. The boy looked at her with an odd expression. There was not a thing he didn't like in her. She had the perfect heart-shaped plump lips with a round face that was glowing. The violet-purple hair and eyes oddly suited her well. She was not too short or too tall and had the perfect figure. So why would anyone want to change that? Plus, she was a fairy. It was her instinct to be loyal and genuine. Anemone could not understand why the boy was looking at her like that. How odd was she, and how much work has to be done on her for her to improve? Was she a lost cause? Well, she was a fairy. Even if he can't help her, she must help him with his studies. "I know I am dumb and naive. I am the weird girl, they said. But you don't have to worry. I will still teach you." Anemone said. "What is your name, fairy girl?" The boy asked. "Anemone." She squeaked, keeping it short this time. "Suits you well. I am Mason, the football team's captain." He said, smiling at her genuinely. But Anemone's eyes were wide with surprise. If someone every girl in school fancied, it was him. He was the heartthrob, the most popular guy in the school. They say one look of him, and there will never be anyone good enough anymore. They were not wrong. And he was standing in front of her asking for help. "Who made you cry, Anemone?" He asked one more time but applying a bit of urgency in his voice. "Fenris. I asked him for a date, and he turned me down. They said I am naive and dumb. That I am the weird girl with violet hairs." Anemone had not realized, but she was crying again. "You are dumb, Anemone." Mason leered, making her freeze in her place one more time.
