Guardian Arrives

As the group of grotesque-looking goblins, brandishing their dull swords. They rushed at the wrecked carriage. Fiona heard a word that can send a chill on her spine and reactively went behind Christine. “Don’t worry, I’ll protect you my little sister” She declared, summoning her sword in her right hand, she took a defensive stance to defend their ground from the incoming mobs of goblins. As a princess of a nation, she was trained to become a great warrior to her nation and thus was trained by the best swordsman of the nation who is also a prodigy, Ernest the Sword Saint, and the great court magician in the country. She raised her swords and prepared herself as one goblin jumped directly in front of them. The disgusting goblin swings his sword vertically, with an intent to slice her in half. But Christine was prepared for that and immediately countered it with an upward swing. It was the goblin that was sliced in half. It gushes disgusting blood that exudes a foul smell, it stained her ostentatious dress. But the goblin horde didn’t stop. They continued moving forward to slice the beautiful princess. Christine tightly gripped the hilt of her sword, she lowered her body as ten goblins jumped in front of her with murderous intent. “Come! Blazing Cut!” The sword that she was holding burned brightly. A blazing fire sheathing her sword. “Take this!” Christine cleaves her sword in the air and the fire that was sheathing the sword was burst forth on the incoming goblins. Their body suffered an intense heat as the fire mercilessly covered their grotesque body, charring it. The goblins fall to their demise. “Nine left!” The princess said to herself as she looked around the surroundings. “It was a good display of talent, your highness. However, don’t get carried away as they are only D-rank monsters.” A voice that she never wants to hear, a voice that betrayed her on this day. She gritted her teeth and didn't bother to look at him. To her, he is a traitor that betrayed her love and trust in exchange for siding with demons. At this moment, her focus belongs only to the goblin that was attacking them. “What are you waiting for? Go and violate her sister.” Shuna said, her voice is not human but distorted. It sounded like a complete demon. The remaining goblins rushed forward. “Come forth! Towering Fireball!” Around the girl, nine fireballs the size of basketball sprang on her hands and attacked the goblins. The goblins were hit and disappeared without a trace along with a dull-sound of an explosion. The concrete pavement, set in the cobblestone, now had holes completely gouged out of it. This power is enough to let a chill run down one’s spine. “As expected of royalty, you do have some powerful abilities. However, you’re facing me and the two demon generals! Your power is inconsequential compared to us.” Ernest boldly declared Christine whose posture remains offensive. “Is that so? Then why not fight me?” Christine is boldly challenged, but can she really beat her? This man after all is the strongest swordsman in the Bethia Kingdom. Challenging him is asking for death. “Are you really serious, your highness? Even if you are a royalty blessed with magic, you don’t have the power to defeat me…” Then he glanced at Shuna and gave her a straight look. Shuna only nodded to which Ernest smiled earnestly. “With the permission granted to me by the Great Demon General Shuna, I shall have your head...Prepare yourself” Ernest accepted the challenge as he pointed the tip of his sword at Christine. Christine in response took a defensive stance to take the blow of Ernest. In an instant, Ernest propelled himself and instantly arrived at Christine in an instant. “Too late…” He was fast, he was moving so fast that her eyes couldn't keep up with his speed. The hilt of her sword trembled as Christine was dominated by the oppressive aura of Ernest. However, she didn’t feel any pain at all. She expects that she will be stabbed by his sword but she can only see him lowering his sword. “Your deaths will just bore me...So, I came up with an idea suddenly while rushing at you…” “Yo-you…” He was able to think in mere microseconds? Just how fast is this Sword Saint? “I think I shall violate you and your little sister right here is that okay? My humble lords?” “Permission granted.” Shuna gave him an assent without hesitation, in fact, she is anticipating it. The feelings of being torn inside slowly as hopelessness befall her. There will be no one able to help her as they were in the middle of the forest. “If that’s the case, I rather die than be violated by you,” Christine said to the unsightly Ernest. “Eh? Are you really sure about that? Because if you do, you will be leaving your little sister to me. That’s fine by me...now kill yourself! Come on! Come on!” He laughed out loud wickedly and manically. Hearing him Christine's commitment to killing herself crumbled, he was right. If he were to kill herself, then he would have her way with her sister. There’s no way she can let that happen. Tears trickled down from her face, facing the hopelessness in the isolated forest. No one is around to help them, they were in the middle of the forest. Even if she were to scream, it was no use, and even if someone comes, they will be killed instantly by powerful Demon Generals and the Sword Saint. “You’re crying? It saddens me to violate someone who doesn’t want my thing. Then let me give you some energy so I’ll give you a proposition. If you let me taste you, I will talk to them and maybe convince them to let go of your little sister. To tell you the truth, those demons are strict when it comes to an agreement. Now, choose.” To Christine, her sister is more important than her. Ever since she was young, they always got to play with each other, eat with each other, sleep with each other, and learn magic and martial arts with each other. Just by seeing her cute little sister makes her tired from practice disappear. And so she vowed to protect her even if she were to give her life. To Christine, her sister is more important. “Oh by the way. You will have to die for the sake of the ritual, don’t mind being killed earlier, it’s just for entertainment that you didn’t die without putting up a fight.” Ernest added as he smiles wickedly. Looking at Christine, it seems that she’s in deep pondering. “I’ll give you three seconds, if you don’t answer, I’ll violate her and let you watch her suffering...no I think she will enjoy it. Because I’m a sword saint after all and all the girls in the kingdom want to taste me. It is a pleasure if you think it that way...hahaha.” With that proudful claim, he let out a wicked laugh. “You said that you’ll let go of my sister if I agree right?” Christine inquired once more, looking at the ground, depressedly. “Yes, I’ll convince them. I promise you, as a knight, I will vow to you an assurance.” “Sister…” Tears can also be seen in Fiona’s eyes, it seems like they are pinched here. She wrapped her hands firmly around her arm, not wanting to give her sister to Ernest. Christine can only cry as she tries to remove the grasping hands of Fiona. Sorry for not being able to protect you, sorry that I was powerless to defeat them, sorry for not being able to fulfill my promise to you...I’m sorry! I’m sorry! “Do you have the final words that you want to say to your sister? I’ll wait.” Ernest with a wicked smile said to the crying Christine. With that chance, Christine can only hug her sister, wiping the tears that ruined her charming face. “Forgive me...Fiona...but you must live...this way...I can fulfill my promise.” Breaking her words, Christine said her final words and turned once more to Ernest. Fiona being powerless to even help her sister fell in despair. “As the princess of Bethia Kingdom, the second princess, Christine von Bethia, shall satisfy you with my own body.” Declaring that, she started unbuttoning her dress slowly. Ernest gulped his saliva as Christine, he will have a taste of the most beautiful princess in the kingdom of Bethia. “Hehe…” His face contorting wickedly, licking his lips as he moves his hands slowly on her budding bosom. “I shall personally cherished this into my memor—” The next instant, that hand was pierced through by a flying spear from above, shining like a flash of lightning. Dragging him along and impaling him to the nearby tree. “...h” An intense pain, terror, and above all, shock. The simple spear strike was completely unexpected, and Ernest swung his head upward, looking for the thrower. Everyone who witnessed it did the same. But there is no need to search. On top of the cross-shaped relic that stood thirty meters long, a golden stands magnificently. That divine radiance even steals the dignity of the starlit sky and puts the moon to shame. The rage of being wounded made Ernest forget the pain, but he could only fear the overwhelming coercion. “Little worm crawling on the ground. Who gave you permission to look up? The golden man asks indifferently to Ernest impaled on the tree by the spear, looking down at him with a pair of disdainful, burning crimson eyes. “You are not worthy to gaze upon me. A worm should just continue staring at the ground as it dies.” Around the golden shadow, even more, glows appeared, growing to a countless number. Suddenly sliding out of mid-air were swords, halberds, not one of them were the same, all of the divine weapons with dazzling ornaments. And all of them were aimed at Ernest. “I can’t win...he is on a completely different level.” Without even thinking, Ernest realized it instinctively. Winning against him is impossible. It’s stupid to even think of facing him. He had never met this man before but he is so powerful. But why he hasn’t been known throughout the continent? Who is this guy? In front of such an overwhelming enemy, fear is —yes, there is no place for fear. There can only be despair and abandonment. Now, he thinks that he shares the same feeling as the princesses: Abandoned. Slashing through the air in a howl, an infinity of shining blades started raining down on him. Countless divine weapons drilling the ground, tearing flesh to pieces. The Sword Saint is no more— he didn’t even have a chance to fight him. “So easy? Well, it’s expected. After all, I use my level 100 skills.” Jon muttered to himself. He just used the level 100 skills that belong exclusively to the Guardian class called [ Divine Treasury ] with those skills, the user can summon a variety of weapons made out from holy materials up to 20 times. But the new reality broke that limit and turned unlimited. He can still feel the disgusting presence in this place. Did he get the wrong guy? Scanning down, he saw two disgusting figures and two girls in a panic state. Somehow, he feels that he gets a gist of what’s happening here. The disgusting stare of the two grotesque figures was turned only at him on top of the cross-shaped relic; he could undoubtedly see that. “Who allowed you both to lay your eyes on me directly? You rabid dogs.” A lowlife’s gaze is equally lowly and filthy. Being poured by this gaze is an intolerable disgrace for one of the revered players in AEON. Among the members of Surrender@20. Jon is the only one who has this attitude of mocking those who are low-ranked as if he was as King. Particularly to mobs and bosses in Legends of AEON. An empty space appeared again, shining in golden brilliance, and was now fully aiming at the new target: that is the two Demon Generals. “You both shall at least make me happy with your ugly deaths, you rabid mobs.” A sword and spear bustle in the air at the heartless verdict. The weapons coming out of nowhere shot without a warning. The destructive power was enormous. The road-brick surface was blown up like it was hit with an explosive blast, and the scene shrouded by the dust of the brick pulverized into particles. The princesses gulped equally, as the swords and spear hit the two, causing a big explosion. Being engulfed in such dust made them confident that they were defeated easily as the golden man did to Ernest. However… In the thick dust, the shadow of dark, tall figures wavered into their visibility. The two generals were able to block it using some kind of barrier magic. However, the spear managed to pierced General Demon Shuna as blood can be seen trickling on her mouth. A rage that came from all kinds of facial expressions distorted his elegant face, frozen in a murderous frenzy. “You blocked it? How dare you not accept my mercy to kill you painlessly? Well...this is an interesting discovery. Please be part of my experiment. Try not to die too easily like the disgusting worm earlier.” The two Demon Generals gulped at his threatening words. They don’t know who they’re up against but that man in shining golden armor is determined to kill them here on the spot.
