Caught

Fifteen minutes of calming breathes, I heard a soft knock at my door. "Come in." Ava walked slowly into my office, and I gestured for her to shut the door. She looked nervous as f**k. Her hair was in an updo now, and she was wearing a blue tank top that showed her cleavage and dark blue jeans that hugged her hips. I swallowed. f**k. With an effort, I pulled myself together, and gestured to the chair opposite me. She sat quickly and stared at the floor. "Ava." My voice was rough. I cleared my throat. "I wanted to talk to you. About letting the pack know who you are." She looked up at my words, but her face was confused. I could tell her was confused by my change in demeanor. Understandably so. An hour ago we were having a hot make-out session, and now I was acting like it hadn't happened. Before she could say anything, I continued, "I need to tell my pack the truth. I don't lie to them. But in order to do that, I need you to tell me what really happened that day at your Clan. I know it's not easy, but it is necessary. I won't cause a panic within the pack." I stated. "Why is it necessary?" she asked. "Because the world thinks you're an evil rogue Elemental hell bent on killing people. I don't need members of my pack trying to hurt you, or being afraid that you're going to hurt them." I explained. She sighed. I could see she was chewing it over in her head. She stood up and started pacing. Weird quirk, but cute. "It was the day of my Trials... you know, the day where those of age find out which element they gain? I was going with my parents, and we met up with... with Jace..." She winced at the name, but continued. She proceeded to tell me everything, from start to finish, pacing the whole time. When she got to the part about her powers overwhelming her, and killing her best friend, my heart broke for her. This had never been in the reports. The relationship between them was never documented. Then she told me about her escape, and how she sat for three days in a stinking cell. She believed that Jace wouldn't want her to die, even after what she did to him. A part of her believed he would have wanted her to live, even though she was sentenced to death. She never intended to kill those three men, but she didn't have time to put the fire out. "Of course, I always felt guilty for murdering three people. But after you told me what they were there for, I'm glad they're dead." she said. I nodded. I didn't disagree actually. She told me how she found a town of humans, and tried to blend in. She was working at the local market the day of the attack. She barely escaped the assault and felt horrible that people, innocent people, were murdered because of her. After that, she stayed away from civilization to avoid something like that ever happening again. "And you know the rest. The Fire, my supposed death, and then you finding me. That's everything." She finished. She was right. I knew nothing about what she'd been through, but now I did. I watched her as she flopped down on the leather sofa in my office. I hardly ever used it, it was more for decoration. She looked so small, and I wanted to go over there and hold her, kiss her, make her feel safe. I almost did. With an immense effort, I stayed in my seat. "Thank you Ava. I know that wasn't easy. You realize though, that I will have to tell the pack all of that? They deserve to know the truth too." I said. She nodded. "Good. One more thing, I want you to start eating in the kitchen. You can stick by Evelyn, but you need to get used to the Pack, and the pack members. If anyone gives you trouble, you can go to Dom, Leo, or myself. Okay?" "Okay..." "Okay. If that's everything, you can go. Lunch should be ready soon anyways." I said. She got up, but hesitated by the door. She looked at me, and I could see the hurt in her eyes. I felt like a piece of s**t. But I forced myself to look impassive, and she finally left. I let out a breath. That was the most difficult thing I'd ever done by far. I focused on everything she told me, committing in to memory so I wouldn't leave anything out when I addressed the pack later. My blood boiled at the injustices she had gone through. She'd been abandoned by everyone who was suppose to love her and care for her. And they put the blame on her. I wanted to rip apart everyone who had ever hurt her. None of this was her fault. And, in time, I would make her see that. I would make her feel loved and cherished, and safe. I would do anything to make happy. It just sucked that I couldn't do it right now. I heard my phone ding, it was a text from Dom. Dom: Hey boss, how'd it go? I saw Ava leave, and she looked pissed. Luke: It went okay. She told me everything about what happened with her Clan. Text Leo, we're going to address the pack tonight after dinner and let them know. Dom: So soon? Luke: Yes. Because after thats done, I'm going to break up with Taylor. Dom: Okay! :D I shook my head and put my phone away. I didn't want to dwell on Taylor, but after everything I learned today, I kind of had to. I couldn't believe she was that kind of person behind my back. Well, I could believe it, because she was a b***h to me. I guess it only made sense. I leaned back in my chair and thought back over our time together. I remembered the first time she threw a fit when I brought in non-wolves. She questioned my decision and told me they would make the pack weak. I ignored it and told her it wasn't her choice to make, and as the future Luna, she should try to make everyone feel like they part of the pack. And she did, at least in front of me. Now I knew she was bullying members behind my back, and threatening to banish them. I remembered all the times she had pushed me away, and all the insulting things she had said to me. I felt ashamed that I had let her control me for so long. The only reason I was even with her was because her parents and my parents were friends, and they thought it would be a good match. They really thought we were future mates. Taylor was really sweet back then, when I first met her. I remembered the day my parents died. It was the first time Taylor was truly mean to me, and the first time I stayed in a separate room. My parents were coming back from visiting an old Alpha friend, and the weather was really terrible. I was eighteen, and I told them they should stay another night, but they didn't listen. They made it halfway home when dad lost control of the car and they went over a bridge. I was told their deaths were instantaneous, which was a small mercy. The day of their funeral, Taylor didn't show up. I was angry, and hurt. I confronted her later that night, but all she did was yell at me. She accused me of ditching her for an entire day, when I knew she 'didn't want to hang out around a bunch of old sad people.' It was the first time in my life I wanted to hit a female. Her behavior disgusted me. I stormed out and stayed in the adjoining room for three days. Taylor eventually apologized, and even went with me to my parents grave to pay her respects. If I really thought about it, that's all our relationship was. Her throwing tantrums, insulting me and degrading me, questioning my choices as Alpha, and then playing nice afterwards. And I was glad I finally had a reason to break it off. I'd be lying if I said I never thought about leaving her. But I felt like that would be disrespectful to my parents. They wanted us to be together so badly. But if Taylor wasn't my true mate, there was no reason to stay with her anymore. And she was just going to have to accept it. ****************************************** TAYLOR "Ohhh.... yes... just like that baby... f**k me...." I moaned. "You like that? Yeah? c*m for me baby." And I did. Gage was quick to follow, filling me up with his seed. We were in the woods behind the training arena. After Luke screamed at me this morning, I needed some way to vent my anger. So I texted Gage to meet me at our spot. It didn't take long for him to strip me out of my clothes and bend me over. He wasn't as big as Luke, but he knew how to hit all the right spots. This was exactly what I needed. "I'm giving you five minutes, then I want to go again." I said. "Again? Baby we've gone for three rounds already. I don't think I have anything left to give you." "Stop being a b***h. Luke can go all night, you know." I said. He growled. He hated it when I compared him to Luke, but I would get another round out of him now. "Fine." He pouted. I rolled my eyes. "Are you going to the announcement tonight? "What announcement?" I asked. "The Alpha-" He sneered the word,"- Is announcing a new pack member. Didn't you get the text?" "What? No. When did we get a new member?" I asked. "Yesterday, I think. I saw Evelyn hanging out with a new girl at lunch." "She better not be another f*****g human. Or a witch. Having that b***h Evelyn around the packhouse all the time is already more than I can handle." I scoffed. "Calm down baby. You'll be Luna soon, and then she can't bother you anymore." "It better be soon! Luke has kept me waiting for a year already! I don't know what the f**k his problem is." I huffed. "I'm glad he hasn't marked you. I'd hate seeing his mark on you." Gage growled. "Stop it. You know how important it is for us for me to become Luna. I can give you a top ranking position, and your own house." I ran my hand down his chest. "My own place huh? With a king size bed?" He grabbed my boobs and started tugging at my n*****s. "Mhmm. A bed we can f**k in all the time, behind closed doors. In every position." I kissed him. He groaned into my mouth, and lifted me, placing me on his d**k. He slid in in one go. "Ride me Taylor. f**k me hard." He whispered. "Ohhh fuck... yes..." I moaned. We had one more hot, breathless session of f*****g. After, we got dressed and went our separate ways. I emerged from the trees and skirted the back of the arena. I peeked out and made sure nobody was nearby. I quickly walked out, pulling my phone out and pretended to be absorbed in it. Then, I collided with someone. I looked up to see Evelyn. What the f**k was she doing out here? "What the f**k? Watch where your going b***h! You almost made me drop my phone!" I shouted at her. She stood, glaring at me. I waved my hand in front of her face. "Hello? What the f**k is wrong with you?" She glared at me for another few seconds, then turned on her heel and walked away. That was odd. Usually, she had some snide comment to make when we came face to face. And why the hell was she out here anyways? Training had been done for hours. Whatever. She was strange. And she was a loser. I texted Gage, letting him know to meet me again after the announcement tonight. He quickly agreed. I smiled, and made my way to the packhouse. Soon, Luke would mark me, and I'd become Luna of the pack. Gage and I wouldn't have to do it in the forest anymore. I'd get him that house, and we'd f**k for hours, every night. And when I was Luna, I'd get rid of all the creatures who didn't belong in my pack. Luke was a weak Alpha, bringing in hybrids and humans and various other supernaturals. I'd fix the problem though. I opened the door to the packhouse and made my way to our room. I quickly hopped in the shower, so Gages scent wouldn't be noticeable. I washed my hair, twice, and washed my body vigorously. I stepped out, and wrapped myself in a towel. I brushed my hair, and braided it quickly. I was going over Gage and I's last session today, feeling myself getting aroused again. I opened the door and froze. Luke, Dom, and Leo were in our room. They were all staring at me, and they all looked furious. Especially Luke. He looked ready to kill someone. "What the f**k? Why are you guys in here?" I snapped. Instead of answering, Dom held up his phone. A video was paused on the screen. He pressed play. I let out a gasp, and fear skittered up my spine. Oh s**t! I was so f****d.
