Working as a team with Rain to help her keep control felt good, and I could tell she also felt better knowing I could help her. Mace was calmer as well, knowing we could go with Rain to the Undercity. I'm sure the plan would be to leave the next day or so, so Rain had time before Amaris' spell to mute her mark wore off. I watched as Rain spent time with my sister, Kali. She really seemed to take a liking to Rain, and I think having another girl around that she is comfortable talking to was a good thing.
