Early morning came fast, and soon I found myself back in a car, the engine purring softly as Rain, Colson, Barys, and I headed towards the city. The cool breeze brushed against my face through the open window, carrying the scent of fresh dew and distant traffic noise.
My parents would be leaving for the city later in the day, bringing my sister, Amaris and Colson's daughter to a safe location in to prepare to help with any danger in the city. As we drove, Barys turned to me, his curious eyes searching mine. "Is it really safe for your sister to be in the city?" he asked, concern etched on his face.
"She's still a skilled fighter, and with my parents by her side, she'll be well protected." I replied, Confused by his question. The passing scenery outside blurred as we continued
