“What the hell are you trying to do, Angelo?” Carlos confronted Angelo. They are already far away from Czarina’s home. He couldn’t believe that Angelo had to go there.
Just what on earth is he trying to do?
“What do you think I did, Carlos?” Angelo asked him back. He stopped walking and faced Carlos. “Besides, why are you so worried? Are you afraid I’d say something to her?”
“Why are you doing this, Carlos?” he asked, feeling defeated.
“No, I should be the one asking that. So why are you doing this?” Angelo asked in a stern voice.
Carlos didn’t respond. He also doesn’t know what he is doing and why they have to reach this point. All he wanted to do is to befriend Czarina, and he thinks there’s nothing wrong with that. But Angelo is doing something that could jeopardize his plan.
