“Hey, Czarina. Is there something going on now with you and Carlo?” Eve asked. It was only the two of them in the kitchen. Eve was helping Czarina to bring extra utensils to the dining room.
It’s already the fortieth day of Czarina’s parents’ death, and there were a lot of people who came to celebrate it. It was a good thing that her friends were helping them out, aside from her relatives. And Czarina was thankful that Eve and the others are with her. Ever since her parents died, her relatives became indifferent towards her. And though she knew and understood why she still couldn’t help but be hurt by it.
