Flight Time

JACOB POV

    My plane landed an hour ago. I couldn't get accommodations where Alexxia is staying, they said it's been booked solid for the week. So I called an old friend to rent a room for me, so I ended up with a room in a hotel just outside of the city. I was smart enough to have him rent it in a different name, just in case this doesn't go the way I plan it to. When he called me and said it had to be outside the city I was shocked.

    I didn't realize how many people would actually be in town for this. This is insane, when the hell did pool get so popular? Is this really the insanity she kept leaving me home for? Of course, she was faithful even with all these players around, This is Lex after all. She wouldn't do that to anybody, not after all she had been through. She's always been too good for me, I thought. But I will have her, one way or another.

    I climb into the taxi and give the driver the address for the hotel. I paid the driver and checked into my room, got my stuff taken care of, and prepared to go to Lex's accommodations.

    I know I need to scope out the area before I see her so I know where the best place is to corner her. I know I can convince her to talk, she's always saying it can get lonely on the circuit. I'm sure she will be happy seeing a familiar face so far from home. Or at least I hope she will, even one I know she is mad at right now.

JEREMY POV

    I'm watching my computer screen do another search for information on Daemien. I have already done all but the shady sites for finding people. Nothing is showing up. When Alexxia gets up and heads into the bathroom I start another program for the search.

    I'm only half watching what's going on around me so I hope I got my computer shut before she saw it when she sat beside me, the look in her eyes are suspicious though, so I'm not so sure. When she asks, "What's up with you and Dani?" I feel a little relief, but still uncomfortable, I don't wanna analyze that right now either.

    After our conversation, I still feel guilty hiding my search from Lex. I haven't hidden anything bigger than a party plan from her, in.....well I don't even remember how long, or even what the last thing I hid from her was. I don't like how I feel about it, I don't wanna give her cause to be alarmed either. I know it is my job to protect her from this type of stuff, if I don't find anything then it won't matter anyway, at least that's what I keep telling myself. I don't bother to pull the screen back up, as long as we are in the air. I think it would look even more suspicious if I do. 

DANIELLE POV

    I watch Alexxia as she takes care of my brother, then goes to talk to Jeremy. I continue to dance while I watch cause I don't want to look conspicuous but I am really trying to read their lips, Which I can hers, but Jeremy doesn't move his mouth much when he talks. I know she wants to know about last night. It's unusual that she and I don't talk about it, it's even more so when they don't. They are closer than any brother and sister I have ever seen, I and my brothers included. We may be triplets, but we don't have that special bond you always hear about with having more than one child at the same time. They were born three years apart but it's almost like they got our connection and we got theirs. 

    I really want to corner her about her and Daemien's night, but I know he screwed up again, not coming with us on the plane. I could see it in Lexxi's eyes. That same pained broken trust look she always got when Daemien screwed up before the accident. I swear I'm gonna beat him to within an inch of his life if he keeps hurting her. I know he doesn't mean it, but god can he get his head out of his azz at least long enough to see what he is doing? 

    I look over at Jazmin to see she is watching Lex and Jeremy too. "What do you think they are talking about?" I whisper to her just above the music. 

    "I don't know but it looks uncomfortable for him." she giggles. "Did you see how they looked before she spoke? He looked like she was gonna out him for something."

    "Maybe." I state, "I wonder how much longer we have to enjoy this luxury before we are landing. We have to be almost there."

    "We have about another thirty minutes to landing." Came over the speakers from the cockpit just then.

   Lexxi runs toward the restroom with her clothes in her hand. When she came out she was dressed as Alex. Dark Blue Jeans, White tee, and a flannel button-up overshirt, all in men's wear. "Why menswear?" Jazmin asked her.

    "Because Alex lives in a man's world. And besides this way no one that sees me outside of pool recognizes me." came Lex's reply.

    When the plane landed they prepared to disembark making sure they had everything. Stepping out onto the tarmac, they were met with a beautiful stretch limo. The first place they went was to the hotel to check-in, and drop their bags off. Once that was done Lex called downstairs to get her spot ready, and to set up a shopping trip for the girls, while the boys, to the girl's knowledge, head to the gym. 

    The girls rode in the limo to the boutique to do some shopping. Lex charged everything they wanted to her account at the hotel. All three of them got a rainbow of colors for their dresses, as well as, shirts, pants, and shorts. Then on to the mall, to get shoes, make-up, and hair done. Lex has her hair cut short so she can either spike it or leave it down for work. Dani leaves hers longer, and Jazmin goes halfway in between.
