Joel arrived earlier at the Weston"s than Piper, and he took the opportunity to walk around the front grounds. They were expansive and well-manicured, making the home a showplace. The front differed entirely from the back where he had played yesterday with the dogs. The front was meant to welcome guest and show off the ambiance of the home. When comparing the two in his mind, he knew the backside of the house was where he preferred to be, facing the ocean. It was more casual, still high-end, but lived in. Here things had a more random structure to it, and someone had strategically placed the outdoor furniture across the expansive lawns to encourage people to sit and enjoy the view.
