Under different circumstances, Joel might have enjoyed the tour of Samuel Weston"s grand home. It was easy to see they’d decorated it with taste, and that money had been no object. Even with his limited, novice ability, Joel could easily see masterpieces hanging in the hallways they walked through. And it didn"t take a genius to see that the beautiful Oriental rugs in a couple of the rooms they passed were not only high quality but probably antiques.
