When I was chosen as the Beta of Blood Night Pack, I never expected to be a marriage counselor.
Sometimes I wondered what my role was.
I was a business partner with Alpha Gerald. I was his personal driver too. He didn't trust anyone else to take him to work besides me. He was so paranoid that whenever he was going out, he always checked the underside of his car before unlocking it, as if someone would put a bomb there.
Alpha Gerald lives with constant paranoia, but right now this is way past paranoia. This is just plain madness.
I was not expecting Gerald to hit Annabelle, let alone try to kill her. If I hadn't pushed him away, he would have choked her to death.
