"Have you handled the problem that has been disturbing you for the past few weeks now, Anna? You seem a little less restless these past few days. So, tell me how you handled the problem. I am really curious."
I almost rolled my eyes at Aaliyah's nosiness.
It is bad enough that I am stuck in a café with her and some of her friends who I am not that acquainted with. Thankfully, they are seated at another table, which is a relief for me.
The last thing I needed was someone crowding me just because I was the Luna. I don't need that fake pretense, that is not the kind of friendship I was looking for.
