The Cat

Ethan frowned and quickly closed out of the photograph she was tagged in like a kid on the computer when an bad advertisement popped up at the wrong time. He didn't want to think about it anymore. Swinging his legs over the side of the mattress the way Raxos would on the Twilight Town Clocktower in Ethan's favorite Kingdom Hearts video game, he slowly got up from the bed and made his way to the door. "Hey E, are you in there?" A voice called from outside. "Yeah, give me a second." Ethan opened the door and saw his friends Adam and Samantha standing before him. "Hey guys." He welcomed, stepping aside to let them into the cabin. "Where's Dan?" "Ah, he won't make it until later. He's out with Darla again." Samantha rolled her eyes as she said the name and Adam let out a small chuckle. "What's wrong with Darla? I though she was pretty cool." Ethan closed the door behind the two and led them over to the kitchen. "My brother has terrible taste in women, but this might be his worst pick yet."  "Oh, yeah? Why's that?" Ethan pondered, looking between the two for an answer while Adam was grinning like a kid who won a hundred tickets at Chuck N Cheese. "The girl bleached her brains out." At this, Adam couldn't hold his composure any longer and promptly burst out laughing as he set the groceries down on the kitchen counter. "She's got the attention span of a goldfish." "I thought she was...swell." Ethan replied and Adam continued to laugh. "SWELL is right. Her butt looks swollen like she's been stung by a horde of wasps. I wouldn't be at all surprised if she stuffs pillows or padding into her pants to give herself curves." Samantha retorted and began to put the groceries away. "I don't see anything wrong with a girl being curvy." Adam added, his hands wrapped around Samantha's hips and his hands gripped her sides, causing the tomboy to let out an audible squeak. "ADAM!" She pushed him away and quickly looked to Ethan, who then made a zipper motion to his lips. Her eyes were thankful as she moved away from her secret significant other and continued to rummage through the bags. "So, have you finished Two And A Half Women yet?" Adam asked Ethan. "No, not yet. I'm on the episode where Bert brings his 15 year old grandson to work."  "Are you kidding? That's back in Season one!" "Ah, mushrooms. We forgot the bait." Samantha looked over to Adam and Ethan and gave a dejected sigh. "Adam, will you come back down to town with me?"  "Sure thing, love." Adam made his way over and snaked his arm around Samantha's waist, chuckling as she began to blush. "Do we need the bait tonight? Why can't Dan bring it when he comes up?" "Because we're going night-fishing tonight and my brother doesn't know the high quality bait from the low." Samantha replied as she and Adam made their way to the door. "Do you need anything?"  "We need sauce, Ranch and Barbeque." Ethan replied. "Then we should be good." "Sounds good. Why don't you write her a letter while we're gone?" Samantha chimed in. "The two of you used to be close." Adam continued to nudge her out the door. He then turned back to Ethan. "We'll be back soon. Whatever you do, Don't mess it up."
