The trip from Earth to Iwagen was not a pleasant one.
It began well enough with the flush of victory, the knowledge they’d escaped the Agency’s traps and achieved all the objectives Richard had set for his mission. Two telepaths who otherwise would certainly have died were now alive and joining the community of minds on the Cheneys’ farm. Richard had a list of most, if not all, the Agency’s telepaths in the field, and could contact them at his convenience. With the mind-to-mind contact possible between telepaths, he could tell them the true story of what awaited them if they stayed with Earth and what they could expect if they joined him.
