Aarav
“You want to marry your dream girl right?” she asks.
“Yes,” I nod.
“I want to follow my dreams,” she says and I nod.
“I have an idea,” she adds and I signal for her to continue.
“See our parents will not back off from this marriage thing and they will surely make us marry so we will marry,”
“Why?” I ask.
“Offooo first listen yaar. So we will marry and then we will apply for divorce and after six months we will separate then you will go on your path and me on my path,” she says and I frown.
“But what we will say to our parents?” I ask.
“We will show them we are not happy and we want to separate so they will agree with us and problem solve. What say?” she raises her eyebrows.
I thought for a minute if I am doing the right thing or not. I don’t love her and she doesn’t want this marriage so what’s wrong with that?
“Ok, I am in,” I decide.
“Fantastic,” she smiles.Later we receive our orders, and we eat.
“So tell me about yourself,” I say.
“ I am a fashion designer. I love fashion designing, it’s my passion. I want to open my boutique in the future,”
“Oh, that’s nice,” I smile.
“You?” she asks.
“I am the CEO of ARR construction company,”She chokes on her ice cream. “You are the CEO of a company!? Oh God I didn’t know about this?”I chuckle
“Yes I am a CEO,”
“And that’s it about your introduction?” she asks.
“Yeah, that’s it,”
“You are such a boring person dude,”
We talked about random stuff until the waiter came with the bill.“I will pay it,” we say simultaneously.
“Why will you pay my bill?” she asks.
“Because I am your fiance,”
“Future fiance and I will pay my bill and you pay yours,” she says and pays her ice cream bill.
“When a girl comes with a boy, then boys pay the bill,” I say when the waiter left with our bill.
“Why is there a rule about boys paying a girl’s bill?” she asks, as we left.
“It’s manners.”
“Yeah, whatever,”
Soon we were out of the food court.
“Do you have any work?” she asks.
“No. Why?”
“Nothing if you are not busy then why don’t you come shopping with me?“
“Do you want me to?” I raise an eyebrow.
“Yeah, why not?”
“Ok then let’s go,” I say and she walks into Lifestyle.
“Hey look there,” she goes to the tops section.
“This is so cute na,” she says.
“Yeah it’s nice” I answer, looking at her expressions and not the top.
“I want to try it,” she pouts.
“So try it,”
“Ok,” she happily goes to the trail room. She comes out wearing a black off the shoulder top. It is simple but classy.
“How is it?” she turns around.
“It's nice,”
“Only nice?” she frowns.
“Not only nice you are looking beautiful in it,” I add.
“Only beautiful?” pouts.
“Umm... You are — “ She laughs
“I am just kidding Aarav. You look so cute when you are at a loss of words,” she pulls my cheeks.
Apart from my mom, she is the first girl who pulls my cheeks I don’t like when someone pulls my cheeks. I usually shout them for doing that but I didn’t get angry when she pulled my cheeks.
“Mister come to earth,” she shakes me.
“Huh,” I ask her.
“What ‘huh?’ I was calling you for five minutes but you are daydreaming,” she says.
We went to the counter, and she pays her bill. I insist to pay the bill, but she starts saying her rules, so I said nothing. We left Lifestyle.
“Now where you want to go?” I ask.
She isn’t listening and is looking somewhere else. I frown looking in the same direction then quickly looked at her, her eyes are twinkling seeing that.
