Alpha Ace’s P.O.V

I was showing her around the pack house and she seemed to like everything that she was seeing, which made me happy. I was a little nervous when the kids looked over at her, but thankfully they only smiled and turned back to their games instead of bowing their heads and addressing us as Alpha and Luna. I had mind-linked them and thanked them for not jumping up and scaring her, while Cheyenne looked around the room, especially as they knew that if they did that they would be punished with cleaning chores. I now had her in my room and she seemed really surprised. I walked up behind her and wrapped my arms around her waist, then kissed her neck. I felt her shiver in my arms and I loved that I had that effect on her. She turned to face, looking into my eyes and then she gave me one of her beautiful smiles.

“Your house is so beautiful, thank you for showing me around, I feel honoured.” Cheyenne said, getting up on her tiptoes and softly kissing my lips. If only she knew how long I had been waiting for this to happen, then she would realise how much I wanted her, how much I needed her. I held her there, kissing her back and my tongue demanded entrance to her mouth, which she granted. Our kiss was very heated and it was me that broke the kiss first, as we both needed to catch our breath.

“Well it's about time you kissed me. Do you know how long I’ve been waiting for that, ever since we met.” Cheyenne said and the corners of my mouth lifted up and I knew that I was smiling from ear to ear. I pulled her close and smashed my lips into hers once again, not wanting to stop, but yet again I broke the kiss.

“What the f**k are you doing? We finally have our mate in our room, we are kissing her and she is kissing us, then you break the f*****g kiss? What the f**k is wrong with you?” Spade asked, furious that I had stopped kissing our mate.

“Right now isn’t the time, maybe when she invites me over to her home, then it will be time, but I don’t want to rush her, especially as she doesn’t know about us yet.” I replied and he just huffed at me, then went to the back of my mind to sulk. Cheyenne looked into my eyes and gently kissed me once more before resting her head on my chest. This was it, this was home, when I had her in my arms I felt like I was really home and it felt amazing.

Cheyenne’s P.O.V

When Ace kissed me it felt so amazing, like fireworks were going off all around me, but then he stopped the kiss. I wanted more, I wanted to feel those sparks all the time. I didn’t know where they were coming from or why they were happening, but I didn’t care, I just wanted to keep feeling them, to keep feeling him. When he kissed me the second time he took my breath away and my whole body felt like it was going to melt right there and then, but dammit he stopped the kiss again. What the hell? I thought, but I decided not to dwell on it and just gently kissed his lips before resting my head on his chest. I don’t know why, but I felt comfy, I felt safe, I felt like this was home and I didn’t want to leave the closeness of his embrace. I sighed when he let go of me and then I saw the withdrawn look when he saw the time. I didn’t want to leave and from the look on his face he didn’t want me to either.

“Damn it.” I whispered, trying to think of something real fast.

“I was wondering if it would be alright if I spent the night? You can take me home tomorrow and it will be my turn to show you around.” I said and his face lit up.

“It is getting kinda late and I don’t want you to drive home in the middle of the night.” Ace replied, making me smile and I knew that I had him.

“Besides, Yara is opening up tomorrow, so I don’t have to be there until three.” I said and the look on his face said it all. He looked surprised and happy, but then he turned and went to his dresser. He pulled out something, then handed it to me and I saw that it was one of his shirts for me to wear tonight.

“I’ll be right back.” I said, walking to the bedroom door. I was going to go back downstairs and use the bathroom there to change my clothes, but just as I reached the door he grabbed me and pulled me back. I looked at him confused as he guided me to another door that was in his room that I didn’t see before and turned on the light. He went to the bathroom cupboard and found a new toothbrush, placed it on the side along with some toothpaste and then he left, closing the door behind him. I looked around the bathroom and was shocked. Damn this man, even his bathroom is freaking big. I did my business and then washed my hands before changing into his shirt and brushing my teeth, then I went back into the bedroom. Ace was already lying in the bed, but he wasn’t wearing a shirt and damn he was so f*****g hot. I managed to keep my cool and got into the bed, but as soon as I did Ace pulled me to him. I slid beside him and he surprised me by getting on top of me and resting between my legs. He kissed me and trailed soft kisses down my neck and collarbone before coming back up to my mouth. I could feel how hard his c**k was and I wanted him so badly, but just as our kiss got even more heated he stopped again.

“Damn it.” I whispered to myself. This man was going to be the death of me, I thought as he lay beside me and I rested my head on his chest. I felt so comfortable that it wasn’t long before sleep claimed me.

Cara’s P.O.V

Who the f**k is that woman and why is she here? He just brings her home, shows her around and she still hasn’t left. This is really pissing me off and I’m going to f**k up their night.

“Ace, can she please you like I can? Can she f**k you hard like I can? I bet she can’t and you will be begging for me to come back in no time, love.” I said, mind-linking him. I knew that he wouldn’t be able to do anything with her while he could hear me in his head. I waited for a reply, expecting one straight away, but it took ten minutes for him to finally speak to me.

“Cara, shut the f**k up. She is nothing like you and I thank the Moon Goddess for that because she is my mate. By the way I never beg, but I will tell you one thing and that is if you interrupt my sleep again you better be prepared to die.” Ace replied, mind-linking me back. Yeah right, I know he wants me and he will have me, it’s just a matter of time.

“Blah, blah, blah, whatever, Ace.” I said and ended the link. This man will be begging for me to come back after this woman puts him through the ringer. She is nothing compared to me and if she truly is his mate then I’ll f*****g kill her and take her crown. Ace will have no choice but to make me his Luna.

Yara’s P.O.V

Shit. s**t. s**t. I was late waking up because I didn’t hear my alarm go off and I had to rush to get ready and get to the restaurant. It didn’t open for another two hours, but I had to make sure that the food was prepped, the floors were cleaned and the tables were set up right. When I got there I ran into the building and everyone stopped to look at me.

“Sorry, I’m late, I didn’t hear my alarm going off.” I said and Zara, one of the hostesses, chuckled.

“Yara, relax, you're only a few minutes late and I mean like five minutes max. We all know what to do, so don’t worry. Everything is cleaned, the food is prepped and ready to cook, plus the tables have been sanitised and set up, ready for people to sit down.” Zara said, smiling and I nodded. Well s**t, I could have had another hour in bed and didn’t need to rush around like a headless chicken.

“So, how did it go with the Luan last night? Has she met everyone yet?” Zara asked, but I shook my head no.

“No, not yet. He showed her around the pack house and she spent the night, but they didn’t mate. Something tells me it will be soon though. We have all heard that once an Alpha mates and marks his Luna for the first time the whole pack feels the power between them and feel their connection strengthen with not just each other, but with the pack as well.” I replied and she nodded. Even though she was a member of the pack, she wasn’t on the territory last night, so she wouldn’t have felt whether they mated or not, whereas I was and I know they didn’t because I didn’t feel a thing.
