Holly’s P.O.V

The morning came all too soon when I heard the birds chirping by the windows. I needed to get up, shower and start cooking something for the BBQ. I wanted to take something with us to thank Cheyenne and Ace for having us over and to show that I was trying, even though I was going about it very slowly. I got out of bed and jumped in the shower, then dried off and went back into the bedroom, just as Mercury was waking up.

“Listen, we are going to that family get together today, so suck it up and get ready. I know that I have been insecure lately, but that’s stopping right now. I know that we are mates and I know that you love me, but I also know that you love her. Whether it's meant to be for us or for you and Cheyenne then so be it, but don’t think that this means I’m giving up on you without a fight. There might be a third chance mate out there for me, but I refuse to stand by and watch you walk away, so don’t for a second think I won’t fight for you because I f*****g will. Now, suck it up and get ready. I’m going to get dressed and then cook a few things before we head over there.” I said and the whole time Mercury looked at me with wide eyes. I don’t think he was expecting to see this version of me, but after thinking everything through last night I decided that I wasn’t going to submit, I was going to fight for my man, no matter what the outcome would be I was going to do my best, which was all anyone can ever do.

Mercury’s P.O.V

When Holly told me what was on her mind and what her plans were it really blew me away. My mouth dropped open and I stared at her wide eyed as she turned her back to me and began getting dressed. Where the hell has this side of her been hiding all along? I loved it. She was aggressive and so confident and secure in herself when she spoke. That’s my woman right there and if she thinks that I’m going to shower without her then she was dead wrong. I got out of bed and took my boxers off before grabbing her round the waist and picking her up, carrying her into the bathroom.

“Mercury, what are you doing? I have to go get food ready.” Holly said, laughing, but I just slapped her ass and growled lustfully at her. She wasn’t getting away from me that easy, I thought as I got into the shower with her and turned it on, moving her so that her legs were now wrapped around my waist.

Cara’s P.O.V

It had been over a month since I’ve been back on my old pack land and I was doing everything I needed to, to get my pack up and running. I sent a letter to the elders and told them about the land being left by the previous pack and that I wanted it. I gave them the name that I had chosen, asking them to agree to my pack being here and thankfully they sent a letter back, agreeing to my pack name and approving of me claiming the land as my own as Ace had moved from the land. This was my territory now and my pack of rogues had joined me, taking over the land and making it our own. I had turned my pack of rogues into fighting machines because not only did I want us to be the best, I still wanted those bitches gone and my first thought every day was how to get one and then the other. I figured out everything and planned it all out. If I get Holly then Mercury will eventually give up on her and want Cheyenne back, which would cause Ace to be heartbroken and he would come running back to me in no time at all. That was it, that was my perfect plan and it was going to work. I decided to get started on my plan, so I headed over to Mercury’s territory and parked my car a short way from the territory border. I didn’t want anyone seeing my car, so I walked for a little bit and knowing that Mercury’s territory would be heavily guarded I climbed a tree to see if I could see anything. No matter what direction I looked in I saw guards and people training. I must have looked so stupid being up here, like a monkey climbing a tree and even I had to laugh at that, but so what. After a few hours I started getting hot and finally I saw Mercury and Holly coming out of the pack house, but she was carrying something that looked like a tray in her hands. They got into the car and sped off, which caused me to panic as I jumped out of the tree and shifted into my wolf. I didn’t want to lose them so I took off running into the woods following the car. I saw flashes of it through the trees and then boom, I was in someone else's territory. I went behind a tree, shifted back and found some shorts and a shirt hidden in the bushes and thanked the Goddess that they were girl’s clothes. I climbed another tree and looked out at the car to see who’s territory I was in and what Mercury and Holly were doing here, but then I was shocked to see Ace and that b***h Cheyenne walk out of a massive house. So this was their new territory, huh. I watched on as the couples greeted each other, but I could tell that Holly was tense, almost like she didn’t want to be there or something more was going on, which made me happy because I could use that to my advantage. I waited until they went inside and then moved to the back of the territory, hiding in some bushes, so I could get a better view. Ace had a grill going and Cheyenne was playing the goody two shoes mate, putting food on a picnic table and her kids were there as well. They all looked like they were enjoying themselves, laughing and talking, which was good. It was good that they were taking the time for this because it wasn’t going to last, not with what I had planned. I started to laugh at my thoughts, but then I heard something behind me and when I turned around, all I saw was darkness.

Dagger’s P.O.V

I was following her while she ran in wolf form, then she stopped in a territory and that was my chance. I had been after this girl for a while now and this was my chance to get her, so I took it. I knocked her over the head as she turned around and she was out like a light. I carefully picked her up and placed her over my shoulder, then I began running with her to my clan house. I went straight up to my room and gently laid her down on my bed before biting into her neck and giving her some of my venom. I knew that she was going to be going through the change and when she woke up she was going to be so thirsty that she would kill anyone or anything on sight just so that she can drink their blood. I plan on being there for when she wakes so that she can drink my blood and that will help the change go faster.
