Chapter 33 no one owns me

Cheyenne’s P.O.V

The day was getting late and everyone had such a good time, which made me so happy. Holly helped me with the dishes and it made me think about playing her up a little. I knew that she would get pissed and I could be a real b***h if I wanted to be, but I could still see some doubt in her eyes and she needs to understand once and for all that Mercury is hers now. If I really wanted him back in my life then I would have done so already, but I haven’t. I honestly still didn’t know how I felt about all of this right now, but I do know that I feel safe with Ace and I love him. After everything was done we went outside and saw the guys talking, then Mercury walked over to Holly and hugged her. I couldn’t help feeling just a tiny bit jealous and I shook it off before Ace could feel anything from me, but it was too late. Ace looked over at me and then walked over, putting his arms around me in a protective manner. This could get ugly real fast and I didn’t want that.

“Holly, you need to take Mercury and leave, Ace is feeling territorial and I don’t want a fight.” I said, mind-linking Holly. She looked over at us and nodded as soon as she saw him, which made me breathe a sigh of relief.

“It's getting late, so let’s go home.” Holly said, kissing Mercury on the cheek. I knew that it was wrong for me to be jealous and I did my best to hide it, but when he felt what I was feeling his wolf, Spade, had come forward and I had to hurry everyone out with Holly’s help. After we said goodbye to everyone and they had left I turned to face Ace and looked into the golden brown eyes of his wolf.

“Spade, please let Ace back out. It’s okay, really, but you need to understand that Mercury and I were together for fifty years before I died, so of course there will still be some feelings there, but I love you and I love Ace. just let him come back out.” I said, gently holding his hand. He looked into my eyes and I saw his eyes changing colour as he slowly retreated and let Ace take back control. Ace stepped closer to me and looked me dead in the eyes, making me gulp.

“If you think that I’m going to let Mercury just take you away from me then you have another thing coming. The Moon Goddess gave you to me for a reason and you’re not going anywhere.” Ace said, pulling me to him and holding me tightly.

“Ace, I’m not going anywhere, but you need to loosen up your hold on me. You’re holding me too tight and I’m right here, I’m not going anywhere.” I said and when he realised what he was doing he loosened his grip on me and sighed, stepping away from me.

“Listen, I have looked for my mate for many years and I honestly didn’t think I had a mate, but then you came into my life and here we are. I can be just as ruthless as Mercury, maybe even worse, but I will not let you go without a fight.” Ace replied, making me a little nervous, but I managed to keep it hidden. I remembered Mercury being this way and I knew just what to do. I gently touched his face and looked him in the eyes.

“Ace, I love you, but I don’t belong to anyone. I’m no one's property and I won’t feel that way. I’m here because I want to be here, not because I have to and not because of the bond. I lived on my own for years and did this on my own. I can do it again, so don’t act like you’re big and bad and aggressive with me, save that for the asshles that try to break onto our land.” I said, stepping closer to him.

“This is the side that you don’t want to see often. No one owns me and I will go as I please, with or without you, so if you excuse me I am going inside to take a shower. If you want to join me then you are more than welcome to.” I said, but Ace just smirked at me. I turned to walk away and Ace smacked my ass then picked me up and put me over his shoulder. I guess I didn’t have to ask him twice because he ran with me into the house.

“One thing, my little mate, I don’t like being told what to do or being told off and you’re lucky to get away with it this time, but next time it’s not going to be pretty. You need to understand that this is my pack and I run it, you help me run it.” Ace said and then put me down on my feet when we reached the bedroom. I was about to protect when he kissed me so passionately that it took my breath away.

“And you are mine, little mate.” Ace said, breaking the kiss and tearing my shirt open. I wasn’t complaining as he tore my jeans off and took me into the bathroom. I turned the showere on as he undressed and just as I turned around he grabbed me and held me against the shower wall. He was already rock hard and I was ready for him as he lifted me up and shoved his huge thick c**k deep inside me, then sank his canines into my neck, marking me once again. I did the same to him as he thrust in and out of me, making me moan against his skin when he hit my g-spot over and over again. I screamed out his name as we both came and then rested my head on his shoulder, feeling my whole body tingle in pleasure.

Ace’s P.O.V

I had marked Cheyenne once more, letting her know how much I loved her, how much I needed and wanted her, but then she did the same to me and I came undone at the seams. This woman was going to be the death of me, but it would be a happy, pleasurable death, I thought to myself as I lowered her down onto the shower floor. We took our showers, washed each other's bodies and then dried off. I went back into the bedroom and saw that it was getting late, but I knew that I would have to be up early in the morning to take care of some business that I had been putting off. I knew I had to do it, but I wasn’t looking forward to it because another Alpha was coming to visit and he was bringing his mate. I hated her because she always looked at me like I was a piece of meat, like she wanted to eat me and it turned my stomach.

“I’ll need you in my office at nine tomorrow morning as Alpha Spawn and his mate, Luna Reapp, are coming to visit.” I said and Cheyenne nodded, but she looked really tired.

Cheyenne’s P.O.V

Ace had told me about this Luna before and it made me smile to think of how she was going to hit the ground hard if she tried anything with my mate. I knew that Ace hated her and I couldn’t wait to meet her to put her in her place. f**k it, if this b***h wants to play then let’s play because if she even looks at my man the wrong way then I was going to rip her f*****g eyes out of their sockets, I thought to myself as I laid down in bed. Today had been such a good day, a long day but a good day and it had drained me. Ace wrapped his arms around me and held me tightly as I laid my head on his chest and both of us fell asleep fast.

Holly’s P.O.V

I knew that Cheyenne was jealous when Mercury put his arms around me because I could feel it, but I also couldn’t help feeling a little smug about it too. Screw it, let her be jealous, but then I felt Spade come forward and I knew that I needed to get Mercury back home before the day ended in a blood bath. This is wrong, just all wrong because the whole time I was there I couldn’t stop looking at Ace for some reason and in the end I had to force myself to look away. I don’t need and don’t want any drama, but I just couldn’t help remembering the look on her face. I chuckled as I got out of the car when we got back home, but Mercury looked over at me and raised his eyebrow. I just shook my head and went inside the pack house. I was heading over to the stairs to go up to our room and wash up when Mercury suddenly grabbed me and took me into his office.
