Marie and Joshua relentlessly dragged me all the way to the innermost part of the Montalvo residence— the kubo. The subdivision itself is situated in a hill so it's only natural to see the mountain range of Sierra Madre at the farthest back of our hacienda. Technically, it was referred to as a hacienda but I labeled it our family's private compound because I never really thought about it as a property but a home to our clan.
