I started to calm down a little more once we were in the woods and Rose was able to run out her energy there and not lose her temper at anyone in close range.
Rose could hear the patrols but they weren’t near us, so she started sprinting even faster until all the trees around her looked completely blurred and she couldn’t make much out. But she was still able to jump over boulders and dodge low hanging branches.
She ran until she was out of breath and she couldn’t go any further and she collapsed on the ground.
She could feel her mother trying to break through the mind link but Rose was blocking her out. There was no way she was talking to her right now and mom was pretty gutsy, trying to get through to her at all right now. Did she want Rose to come back and finish the job? Because
