Chapter 13
Terry arrived for breakfast Saturday morning at 8:30, catching.
“I’m getting entirely too comfortable with you, letting you see me dressed like this and without any makeup.”
“I’d enjoy seeing you like that every day”
She gave him a puzzling glance.
“Hi Terry,” Suzie shouted, as she came running in, giving him a kiss on the cheek.
“So how long do you think your meeting will last?”
“Oh, probably a couple of hours. We have a lot of important things to talk about.”
“Unless your mom has something planned, I was hoping this evening, we might all drive to Galax, have dinner, watch their parade, and drive through town to see the decorations.”
“Momma, can we? Please?”
“I guess. And maybe when you guys get back from town, we’ll go cut a tree.”
