Chapter NineThe three of them waited in the dark, and soon enough, whatever was going on just beyond the wall stopped. The people faded off into the distance and the three of them could breathe a sigh of relief. “Hopefully that's the only encounter we have tonight,” Ryan said, the others nodded in agreement.
