Chapter 13 – Outmaneuvered Jerry led Porter, Hooper, and Sandstone towards the bridge. The artificial gravity remained off, so they maneuvered on their suits' grav engines. The deck, bulkheads, and overhead pipes were all speckled with blood. It had already dried and turned black. Some of it had flaked off and now floated around as macabre dust motes. Other than the lone Paragon in the mess hall, every enemy corpse they encountered was a Reliant. The lights still occasionally flickered. It all conspired to give the corridors a haunted feel. “I hate this,” Porter whispered. “I feel like some Reliant's going to jump out and—” “That's enough of that, Arlen,” Sandstone said. “I don't want to hear—” “Kill the chatter, both of you,” Jerry said. “Focus on the mission.” “No air in here, sir,
