Chapter 3

Holy cow! Why is he so handsome, Gigi? Just because of the smile, you immediately forgot how rude he was to you before.

I raised an eyebrow at him. "For what?" He has turned his back on me.

I didn't show my frustration until they were gone.

I just waved as they left. "So what do you think about, Dj?"

David James Villafuerte his my first love before. But now? I don't want to fall for that man! The snout! We were friends back then, and they were still defending me from those bullying me, but I seem to remember that.

I just shrugged my shoulders at mommy's question. The three of us went inside when we finished taking them outside.

I woke up to the noise of my phone; I looked at my wall clock to see what time it was 9 am. I picked up my phone and immediately answered it. "WHAT ?!" annoyed I said.

"I'll give you 10mins to prepare"

I'm confused to see who this number is. It's just "Who are you?"

"It's me, David."

I felt annoyed when I heard its name "What do you want?"

"I'll pick you up later."

"Wait, what? Why? I mean, why are you picking me up?"

I heard him sigh. "Just. See you" I haven't spoken yet. He's already taking it down.

I was just shaken. I got up to go down; when I finished getting ready, I went down. I even caught mommy hurrying away. "Mom?"

She turned to me, "Hey, honey."

"Dad called you?"

She nodded. "We have something to fix with Dj's parents." I kiss mom's cheeks.

"Take care," I said.

She smiled at me. "You too. Enjoy but not too much, okay?" He said with a smile,

"Mom!" I disobey here.

She said, "Okok. I gotta go," and left.

I sigh. I sat on the couch, took my phone to make a video call with Loraine, but they canceled it. They message me

"There's an interview today; we'll call you later," Loraine chatted with me.

I'll be ready so that when Dj arrives, he won't have to wait for me. I went up again. "Nanny, if someone finds me, just let me in, I'll just fix my self" I ordered when I met one of our maids.

She nodded, so I entered the room.

Also, a few minutes before I finished tidying up, I was wearing a dress. Semi-formal maybe where Dj will take me at least decent wearing me.

I heard the car horn, so I quickly took my purse and left the room.

When I came out I saw his car; he opened the door for me. "Thanks," I said.

He was just quiet until I boarded.

And he started the car. "Where is Christon anyway?" They are both my childhood friends.

Christon and David James were my friends when I was young, and they were cousins, so it was easy for Christon to become close when Dj introduced me to him.

"I don't know," he replied sparingly.

He didn't want to talk to me, so I didn't ask again.

We also arrived at a restaurant; he had already parked the car. I couldn't wait for him to open me "David!"

I looked for the one who shouted his name; I noticed a woman approaching us, I mean coming Dj. The woman hugged Dj. I was surprised at what the woman did. "What took you so long?" The girl asked.

Dj kissed him on her lips. I was more surprised by what Dj did. "I told you that I will fetch my best friend."

Does he still consider me his best friend? Not obvious, ah. Ts!

"Oh right," she suddenly turned to me, she suddenly smiled. "So you are the best friend, right?" I just nodded. "Finally! Nice to meet you" she hugged me.

She looked sweet. "Hi," I said.

"Ashley, she's Gianna Gift, my childhood friend." Introducing him to me. "Gigi, she's Ashley, my girlfriend."

Of course, she is his girlfriend; he won't kiss her if he doesn't. I feel like I've lost my mood as I'd rather sleep in the bedroom.

"Then?" Bella asked

"I just went with them instead of leaving me in the car; I don't know why he picked me up if he was with his girlfriend," I growled.

It's been two days since that happened; I just told them now because they were so busy. After all, they were hired immediately and started working because the applicant needed them; they were intelligent and good, so they were hired immediately. And I'm happy with my friends. I won't see them sad anymore because they already have a job.

I was irritated when Bella laughed when I said that "You're jealous, eh."

"No, I'm not!"

Loraine suddenly climbed into the pool. "So what do you call that? If you're not jealous, it's not a big deal for you, though, but the way you are acting right now, I agree with what Bella said. You're jealous!" Loraine said she took the towel to wipe her body.

I'm here today at my house, and they went on a swimming trip in our pool, so I just let them go. "Lor, Believe what you believe. I can't do anything more." I angrily said, "I'm just not jealous, and that's the truth."

I noticed they both looked at each other and laughed. I just let them go because I'm angrier.

"Your phone is ringing," Bella said to me.

"It's just Kenneth; I'm getting tired of canceling his calls to me."

A maid approached us. "Maam, you have a visitor." She said to me.

I took my bathrobe, and they did the same to Bella, and we wore it. "Who?"

I asked as we walked into the mansion. "Sir Kenneth."

I stopped and faced her. "And you let him in?" I asked, annoyed.

She nodded. "What if it's a thief or something? Next time, don't let him in; let him wait outside. Only let him in when I say," She apologized, so I couldn't help but face him.

Going straight to the Living Room, I saw Kenneth sitting when he saw me; he suddenly stood up. Kenneth is handsome, rich, intelligent, sporty, but I suddenly lost my feelings for him.
