Being the Empress, it took Onwem a lot of time to unite the states of her empire once again. She Changed the officials and dismissed those who were against her reign. But she knew that her days would soon come to an end. The High Priestess Nwanyi also knew.

"You gave your life away remember. All these powers you now possess will not last" Nwanyi said to her.

"You too will not last long remember. We are destined to die together" Onwem reminded Nwanyi.

During the moment Dike kissed Onwem in the Sacred Shrine in Abiam, The Shrine granted Onwem her last wish, which was to send her and Nwanyi away from Leffa across the Great Sea and give them seven more years to live. The Sacred Shrine granted her the wish and the moment Dike kissed her, the divine light sent Dike away to the mountain where he saw the Princess sleeping and sent Onwem and Nwanyi beyond the Great Sea for them to spend the seven years they asked for.

"I want a child" Onwem said to Nwanyi.

"A child?" Nwanyi asked her.

"Yes. I'm now an Empress and I have so much power. I heard Dike now has a son. I want to have a daughter before I die" Onwem said sadly.

"What is your plan my Queen?" Nwanyi asked her.

"I want Dike's son to marry my daughter some day. I have lost Dike to another woman, and five years to come me and you will be dead. I want my daughter to be Dike's son 's wife someday. I want to have a daughter and teach her many things before I die. Will you help me oh great priestess?

" You are not much of a human the moment you agreed to sacrifice yourself to stop the Sacred Tiger and so you can't have a child but I will help you. I will help you to become pregnant. Find any man of your choice among the Generals and make love with him. You will have a daughter" the priestess assured her.

Onwem was so elated to have a child of her own. She named her after herself. When the officials asked her why she named the baby girl Onwem. She told them that she had given everything she was and would ever be to her baby girl.

It was a royal celebration to welcome the crown princess. Four years later, Onwem sent a message to Dike. Inviting him to her Empire. Dike was not ready to pay a visit across the sea and to an Empress he believed had no business with him.

"You have to pay a visit to the Empress across the Great Sea. There must be a reason she wants to see you so badly" Dike's advisor said to him.

"How can I pay a visit to an Empress I have no business with? I have never met her and my Kingdom doesn't do business transactions with her empire" Dike said to his advisor.

"Still you have to pay her a visit. From what I heard she is very sick now. Who knows. She might want to hand over her empire to you before she dies" his advisor spoke.

"I don't want her empire. I have refused to be greedy. But I will go and answer to this Empress" Dike finalised.

"Yes you have to. We will go together with your son. It will be good for the crown prince to have his first trip" The advisor suggested.

"The Crown Prince is too young to survive the poisonous sea. I will not go with him. We will go to the Empress tomorrow" Dike sounded.

Dike's servants made preparations for his trip across the Great Sea the following day. Dike explained to his wife, the princess. She asked him to take her and their son, the crown prince with him. According to her, such a royal visit requires their presence. Dike accepted to go with his wife and her son to pay a visit to the strange Empress across the Great Sea.

While Dike was asleep that night. The same old man that appeared before him on the mountain appeared in his dream and urged him to go with his son to meet the Empress. Dike woke up and looked at his son who was sleeping. He kept looking at him. The son resembled him a lot. He made up his mind to go with him and his wife.

The next day, they set out on the journey across the Great Sea.
