  Chaze sat dejectedly when Gilly left his tent. Gilly went to meet Amira outside and saw her sitting alone and looking at the skies. She knew her heart was heavy. She stood in front of her and asked, "can we talk?"

Amira looked at her and nodded. Gilly sat beside her and the two of them looked deeply into each other's eyes before Gilly smiled. "Do you know why I joined the bandits in Kenza?" She asked.

Amira shook her head saying, "I don't"

"I did because of your brother. I loved him so much. I couldn't resist him when he approached me in the market of Kaborn. He was gentle, handsome and clean. I wanted to be with him in a small room and lay my head on his chest and giggle and joke and the rest of the things lovers do but Chaze opened to me the fifth time he visited me in the market. Said that was the last time he would pay me a visit. I was shocked. I already loved him and I wanted to know why. He was strong, I know but he cried that day. I put his head on my chest like a mother does to her baby and encouraged him to open up. He decided to tell me about his group and their decision that said he would not visit the cloth seller in the market of Kaborn which was me again. To his surprise I told him to take me to his group. He didn't want to but I made him to. I learnt he was among the most famous bandits of Kenza. Cut the story short I joined the group to keep him safe. To watch his back and to be with him"

Amira sighed and said, "Chaze is a charmer and every woman's dream. If he wasn't my brother I would be in your shoes now, loving him and never letting him go" the two ladies laughed and Amira held Gilly's hands. "I want to keep my brother safe"

"Me too Amira. I told him already about your marriage to the foreign ruler. I don't want you to suffer marriage without love. We will help you after this war" Gilly said.

Amira chuckled sadly, "my foreign husband has thousands of warriors and he is very powerful. After saving this city of Abori from the King of Kaborn if possible the only option is to continue my marriage with him. He will come for me if I stay here. He will crush this city if he has to just to have me back. He is a ruthless man. The strange things he does to me at nights. I will hang myself after this war" Amira cried and Gilly comforted her.

The King of Kaborn and his great army had settled in an outskirt of Abori and built a camp to rest in.

Back to Abori, Chaze approached Gilly and Amira and said, "Don't allow those generals of yours to touch Ann and Lilly. They are both innocents. I understand your pain sister and I understand your love for me. Gilly, the raven you dispatched has returned. The King of Kaborn is now settled near our city and will descend on us tomorrow morning. I have to bring out my talent again this time. I will go to their camp this night and steal their king back to this place. The army of Kaborn will surrender when their king is our captive"

Gilly and Amira looked at each other. Amira nodded before saying, "are you sure you will succeed?"

"Let me go with you" Gilly stood up.

"No Gilly, I won't risk you on this mission. I started this whole thing. Let me end it. If I don't return after ten hours, Gilly help Amira and with the army gather the city people of Abori and their properties and board the nearest ship to the lands of your foreign husband. If we can't save Abori at least we can take it's people safely out of it. My sadness is that if I don't succeed you will have to continue to marry the man you don't love but it will be worth a sacrifice to keep the people you cherish so much safe. Don't think much about me and mother. We will be resting in happiness" Chaze turned to go but Gilly called his name and he turned to face her. "You will return safe with the King of Kaborn. You always do"

Chaze smiled at her as the two ladies watched him take a horse and left the camp.
