The Immortal

Episode 20

The red general who abducted the princess stopped riding the horse when his broken hand began to pain him so badly. He jumped down and with his the other hand forced the princess from the horse but the princess carefully made sure she didn't miss as she kicked him so hard in between his legs. The general fell, using the broken arm to hit the ground and the princess jumped on the horse and galloped a bit away from the general. The general was still on the ground screaming painfully when he raised up his head and saw the princess facing him on the horse. Suddenly she started riding towards him. The general wanted to be on his feet but the horse climbed on him and matched on his face and stomach. Blood came out from his nose, eyes and ear. He stopped breathing at once.

Jake immediately arrived and stood watching the princess as she sat on the horse with tears in her eyes.

"You killed him" he said.

"Yes" said the princess.

A minute later, Jake and the Princess were hugging each other. They looked back and saw some kezeya soldiers, Jake's father and his mother and the king and his family all standing and applauding them. The princess's father was bound and forced to stand among them as he watched his daughter.

"We won" said Jake.

"Yes. Don't kill my father. Don't let them kill my father" said the princess.

"Your father will have to approve our marriage. I will give him that honor" said Jake and the princess smiled, kissed and hugged him.

Jake did not buy the idea of loosing his power immediately after the war between Kezeya and the red people. He had a secret meeting with the king of Kezeya and led the army of kezeya to deal with some neighbouring kingdoms that had threatened them with war. Most of those kingdoms surrendered and called Jake their saviour. Jake fought tirelessly as the princess remained in the palace of the king of Kezeya with her father who had totally accepted defeat and decided to be with his daughter if that was the last thing he was meant to do.

"Forgive me my daughter" he had said.

"Forgive me too Dad. I love you" replied the princess as she kissed her Father's forehead.

Jake returned finally to the palace and having many warriors serving under him he decided to have a grand home of his own. His parents were so proud of him and Jake's father threw a party in the name of his wife which Jake and the princess attended in their glory.

The whole of Kezeya was proud of the newly wedded couple. Jake gave the princess a slobbery kiss in front of the whole people of the land.

"It is time for me to become a human again" said Jake as the princess smiled.

That night, Jake put on the candles in their matrimonial room and romantically undressed the princess as she stood with her eyes closed. He put her on the bed but she held his hand and asked, "are you about to do this because you want to loose your power, because you want to fulfill the promise you made to me or because you love me?"

"The last one, because I love you. Because you are my Wife" Jake replied and that night was the best night. Jake experienced not weakness when he made love to the princess rather he experienced the power of immortality becoming part of his system.

Months later, the princess carried Jake's son in front of the people of Kezeya as Jake addressed them. The people were really happy that their hero didn't loose his power after all. They praised him, "Immortal! Immortal!! Immortal!!!
