Episode 19

Jake turned to walk away but his father who already knew his son was about to go in search of his mother, held his shoulder and said, "let's go together" but Jake shook his head in disapproval. Thunder and lightning announced as he vanished from the battle field.

The battle field was littered with dead bodies as the Kezeya soldiers celebrated their victory.

Inside the tick bush of Kezeya, the one eyed man and the witch stopped and got down from their horse, brought Jake's mother from the horse and forced her into a cave. The one eyed man stood near Jake's mother as she sat on the floor of the cave in tears and invoked the spirit of a dead beast nesting in the cave to come for dinner and shut Jake's mother inside with a heavy stone. Jake's mother cried and struggled to remove the stone but to no avail. Suddenly the cave became dark and she kept quite. From the inner cave, the dead beast was approaching.

Outside the cave, the one eyed man mounted on his horse and so did the witch.

"You want her dead?" Asked the witch.

"Yes. It's either I have her or her husband looses her" We should use our powers to remain invisible" said the one eyed man. The witch looked around and before they could use their power to vanish into thin air the heavy wind swept their horses off their feet and they both fell heavily on the ground. The witch stood and went up in flames to remain untouchable but wind is stronger than fire and Jake taught her that lesson. He ran round the witch as the wind he commands extinguished the fire on the witch. The one eyed man stood up and Jake was already holding him by the neck. The one eyed man struggled for his life until he stopped breathing. Jake let go of him immediately and he fell face down on the ground.

As Jake turned to face the witch he could no longer see her. He heard his mother's cries in the cave and made straight to it. He rolled off the stone and saw his mother lying on the ground and the beast almost devouring her. The beast looked up and saw Jake and slowly backed off into the cave.

Jake helped his mother up and the walls of the cave started collapsing. Jake held his mother and as the lightning and thunder blasted they were already outside the cave.

Outside the cave Jake saw the witch on the mountain using her powers to bring down the cave. He let go of his mother and like lightening climbed the mountain and was already standing behind the witch.

"Stop" he said.

The witch turned and smiled. "You think you are indestructible?"

Jake didn't allow her to finish before he hit her down from the mountain. The witch fell on the rocks and smashed her face. From the mountain Jake watched as his mother used a stone to smash the head of the one eyed man where he was lying on the ground.

"Time to save the Princess" Jake said to himself.
