The bandits all dispersed, back to their posts, leaving Chaze with their leader, Chaze's girlfriend who was also one of the bandits and Lilly who had been brought out of the bag and made to lie down face up. She was still alive but weak.

"You brought back a princess instead of golds. What are we going to do with her. Certainly we must kill her. No one learns of our hideout and lives to tell how it looks like. Sharpen your sword Chaze. kill this girl by yourself and throw her corpse down the rocks" the bandit leader said and walked away. Even though Lilly was sick she was begging and sobbing. Chaze's girlfriend was a brutal lady. She kicked the princess hard and turned to look at Chaze. "Chaze! Don't sulk! If you don't have the stomach to kill this b***h I will!"

Chaze looked at her, looked at the princess and carried her on his shoulders, making his way to the cliff.

"That's the Chaze I know. Throw her over the cliff and be done with it" the girlfriend said, while following Chaze from the back. Chaze turned and said to her, "go back to your post. You mustn't follow me. Let me do this myself"

"I don't trust you Chaze. I have never seen you sulk over being asked to kill someone. You are the most dangerous bandit in our group but this night, now I'm seeing you sulk, I don't trust you will kill this lady. So I must follow you to confirm her fall over the cliff"

Chaze paused for a while and turned to continue matching towards the cliff. Lilly was crying silently and begging Chaze not to throw her down the cliff. "My father will give you all the golds in Kenza to have me returned to him. Please don't kill me"

They were now at the cliff and Chaze's girlfriend was beside him, watching him to see how he prepared to throw Lilly down the rocky cliff. Chaze put Lilly down as she lay on the ground, her legs tied up and after a while, approached his girlfriend and said, "I'm sorry Gilly" before carrying his girlfriend up and throwing her down the cliff. His girlfriend's screams reached their camp but the rest of the bandits thought it was the screams of Lilly while being thrown down the cliff by Chaze.

Chaze went down on his kneels beside Lilly and said, "we have to leave"

"Why did you do this?" Lilly asked.

"I will explain later" Chaze freed her legs from the ropes and held her hand as they escape the hideout.

One of the bandits approached their leader and said, "Chaze is not yet back from killing the princess. His girlfriend is not here as well. Don't you think we should go to the cliff and see what is happening there?"

"Go and check then" instructed the leader.

The bandits were shocked to see Gilly. Chaze's girlfriend down the cliff instead of the princess. They rushed down the cliff and carried Gilly back to the camp. There it was learnt that Chaze had betrayed them but Chaze's girlfriend was not dead.
