  Chaze stood up from the rock as he kept looking at the moving carriage. Lilly's attention was drawn by that look as she looked behind her and straight into Chaze's eyes. She tapped Gilly, "look at who I'm seeing" Lilly pointed at Chaze. Gilly looked back and couldn't believe her eyes. She jumped down from the carriage and forced the man driving it to stop. The carriage was stopped at once and Lilly came down.

Chaze sighed and knew that there was going to be trouble. Gilly opened the carriage and picked a sword. Lilly did the same as they started approaching Chaze. Chaze didn't want to fight them. He ran and the two ladies pursued him. The travelers at the sea side were drawn to the drama. Chaze climbed the mighty rock beside the sea and Gilly and Lilly climbed the rock as well. Chaze ran down from the back side and sneaked to where the carriage was, pushed the driver off the carriage and drove it away with Ann still lying at the back of it.

Gilly and Lilly ran down the rock and were shocked to see Chaze riding their carriage and had already given them a long gap. They dropped their swords and looked at each other.

"What about my sister? She is in the carriage" Lilly was saying.

"I thought you wanted your sister dead? I still wonder why you abducted her from the palace alive. And now that Chaze has her we can only hope he doesn't eat her alive" Gilly spoke.

"Chaze and Ann were the cause of my lover's death" Lilly spoke.

"And because of you Chaze tried to kill me. None of us is innocent. We just have to work together if we must succeed. The ladies of the night will soon land their ship in Abori and so are the bandits. We need Chaze and Chaze needs us. Do you understand? Gilly said.

Lilly looked at her for a while and nodded before saying, " something tells me that fate brought us all here to save a small village from a heavy attack. But how can this happen. Here we are, just the two of us and there is Chaze, escaping with my own sister. We caused it. We scared him off" 

"Scared him off? Chaze? The most dreaded bandit of Kenza? He was just running because he didn't want to hurt us. He is never scared. I know him very well" Gilly pointed out.

"You sound like you still love him" said Lilly.

"Of course I do" Gilly answered.

"So you won't have to kill him? Lilly asked.

"Are you going to kill your sister?" Gilly asked.

"No" Lilly answered.

"No. But he loves neither of us now. Your sister might be the next person he will love" Gilly said and walked away as Lilly kept staring at her as she thought aloud, "what if Gilly is right. What if Chaze falls in love with Ann?"
