Chaze stopped the carriage on a lonely pathway and got down. Ann opened her eyes. Her blood tainted white cloth was still dripping water. Ann kept looking at him as Chaze looked away. She helped herself to sit up.
They knew they had a lot to explain and talk about. A lot of questions to ask each other and why the things happening were happening in the first place. Chaze sat beside her. He knew he had to unite the three ladies. He knew this was Ann who beheaded Ome and he knew the three ladies were against each other for the reason best known to him.
Gilly and Lilly got tired of walking and Lilly sat on the ground. "If Chaze is wise enough he should stop being a coward and come back to face the consequences of his actions" Lilly was saying.
"I told you we need him" said Gilly.
"Then where is he?" Lilly shrugged.
There were sound of strange noises then like lightening from the extreme side of the sea side, a thousand horses with their riders emerged. Gilly and Lilly stood scared as they knew they couldn't run. The riders led by a lady were many and they were well equipped.
The riders rounded them up as their leader who happened to be a lady got down from her horse and faced Gilly and Lilly.
"Who are you both and what are you doing here?" The lady asked.
"We are travelers" Lilly answered.
"No you are not. Judging by your dressing you are part of the bandits coming from Kenza to destroy Abori" the Lady said and commanded her warriors to have Gilly and Lilly bound and forced on a horse. "They are following us to Abori" she concluded.
Gilly and Lilly tried to explain but the warriors forced them on a horse as they rode off.
Chaze and Ann were both seated on the carriage now when the riders reached where they were and rounded them up. Chaze stood but Ann couldn't. "Don't worry, sit still. I got this" Chaze said to Ann as Ann sat back scared.
The Lady leading the riders approached Chaze and with a smile on her face said, "Brother. I have missed you"
"I have missed you too Amira" Chaze responded and they hugged each other. Gilly and Lilly looked at each other.
In the sea, the ladies of the night were almost in Abori and so were the bandits.
