Axle’s POV

I managed to escape from Chanel. I got into the limo and met my bros laughing uncontrollably. I looked at them helplessly.
"Awwn, your baby girl missed you" Carl said mockingly. I grinned at him and he kept laughing. " You know, you'd have to move on Axle, give Chanel a chance. She seems to love you a lot. Allow yourself heal." Blaise added as the driver started the engine.
"I want nothing to do with that w***e, besides you know the consequences of me catching feelings. I'm not planning to put someone's child in danger again. I'm done with that shit." I said calmly. There was a brief silence in the car. Suddenly they stated talking about everything that had happened in the lecture hall.
"The newbie looked hot as hell you guys" Carl our number one p*****t said as he popped open a bottle of champagne. "Yeah, they were two actually. The other one with the British accent had nice lips" Liam added. "I think I prefer the scholarship girl. I heard she also surpassed the first girl's scholarship record.
And she seems cool but very timid" Blaise poured champagne into a glass and passed to me. I listened to them carefully not wanting to say my thoughts. "What do you think Axle?,about the both of them?".. " They looked like they're from middle or low class families. You guys know how I get around such people." "Oh true" they all said in unison.
We got home at about 11pm because we decide to go to the studio to record some songs we had just written. My mom and my little sister had gone to bed. Our dinner had been set on the dining, we quickly had dinner and retired to our rooms for the day. I couldn't get the newbie at school out of my head. I turned from side to side on my bed but I still couldn't sleep.
I walked to the wine stand and took a bottle of tequila before heading to my verandah. I watched the clear sky and the bright lights of the city. The cool night breeze blew through my hair And i began to remember everything about my past lovers.
Guilt engulfed me. I could have saved them. I could have done something at least. I filled the second glass again as I was lost in my thoughts. Tears rolled down my cheeks as I remembered my previous girlfriend Tamar. She was an innocent soul. Cheerful, pretty and sweet.
She would do anything for me. Still I let her die. Because of my selfish interests. Now this newbie, why couldn't I get her out of my head. I finished the whole bottle of tequila and began to feel dizzy till I slept off on the floor.
Melissa's POV
Katie wouldn't stop yelling in my room. " Oh my God!,oh my God!, Oh my Godddddddddddddddddddd!!!!" I observed her and laughed. "The Rocky Five attend our school, I never imagined I'd ever get to see any of them in reality. But there they are, my course mates. My freaking course mates Lissa!!!" I laughed even harder. She was going nuts. "Calm down Katie.
Maybe you could talk to them later at school then you can shoot your shots. You're the confident one here after all". Katie's face suddenly went pale white. " What's the use? I'm not even close to their type, I don't wear heavy makeup, I don't wear Designer clothes and shoes and bags, I'm not even nearly as pretty as any of the girls I see in their music videos. I'd be making a fool outta myself if I do that. I'd rather live with the thoughts of them and hang out with my boys around here".
She looked pitiful especially because I thought about it quickly and realised that she was telling the truth. Why would such rich, cute and high class artists want to settle for such low class girls who barely even know how to dress?. I patted her on the back and gave her a warm smile "at least we've got each other and some ice cream" I said walking out of the room and beckoning on her to follow me. We got to the kitchen and I opened our little freezer and brought out the ice cream I had been saving for a while now. Aunt Caroline came back just then.
She looked tired but very excited. We ran to hug her and help her with the luggage she was carrying. " Hello girls, how are you both doing and how was school today?". "It went well aunt Caroline, how about you? ,How was your day?" Her mood brightened up almost immediately, she brought out an envelope and gave me the content.
" Dear Miss Caroline Hathaway, you have been employed at Alpari enterprises as a receptionist. You are expected to resume on Monday twenty eight of September 2020 at 9am prompt, welcome on board!".
We jumped and danced cheerfully. "The pay is moderate, but at least now we can sort some of our bills our selves" she smiled as she walked to her room .Katie left a few moments later. I was left alone in my room. Thoughts about the day began racing through my mind.★★★★★
