I tug my silk red dress that stopped mid-thigh level, the fabric was smooth and luxurious, perfect for this underground fighting ring. My hair was let out, the natural waviness in view for people to see: it was the first time I had bothered to actually let it down.
I made sure to apply a minimal amount of makeup to enhance my features, additionally, I spritzed my favourite perfume that had the essence of tonka beans. In order for me to even enter this club, I had to look the part.
From my peripheral vision, there were several people waiting in line. It was going to be difficult for me to enter if I wait in that line, so after pondering for a hot minute I made my way towards the front line.
The person who was in charge of letting people in scanned me from bottom to top, his eyes lingered on my chest as I tried to hold back a gag before fluttering my eyes, time to pretend to be a bimbo.
"You're really cute, maybe you and I could meet up after the fight ends," I whisper in a low seductive tone, the guy gulps as his cheeks tinged pink. He's too easy, easy is not the best way to live this life. People will have a better advantage of you, people like me who love playing games.
"I g-guess, you could go in now and straight after my shift ends I will meet you!" the guy stammered, letting me pass through. As soon as I am out of his vision I let out a scoff, did he really believe my act?
As I walk inside the club, there's a sign stating underground. I walk down the several stairs that finally lead me towards a huge fighting ring and people chanting the name Silver. They all were crowded around the ring, screaming their heads off.
But there was no sign of Elliot. People in selveridge high think of the sexy nerd when they hear his name but they don't think of the fighter. The only reason I know Elliot fights is that of my cousin, Anna.
I notice people from school, they were all waiting for the fighters to appear, one of the fighters being Elliot. But they don't know it's Elliot who fights.
The lights now switch off, the spotlight was on the fighting ring. People were still chanting the name Silver, but who is Silver? I was waiting for Elliot Grey to appear but he doesn't, instead, it's a tall lean guy, a mask covering half his face showing his perfectly plump lips and structured face that seemed to be crafted by the heavens. My eyes trail down his tan, muscular body, a necklace around his neck stating Silver. A tattoo imprinted on to his stomach, making him seem a thousand times badass than I thought of him as.
That's Silver? My eyes linger on him, who was he?
Another guy walks into the ring, he was very tall. A tattoo stating Griffin. Hairy and muscular, he's a very bulky guy indeed. How could Silver defeat someone who's twice his size? I frown, I wasn't here to watch a fight between two random people. I came to watch Elliot Grey fight but he wasn't here.
"Let the fight begin!" a guy blows his whistle as Silver stands calmly in his position, not moving an inch. Griffin rushes towards him, throwing his fist in the air, aiming it towards Silver who simply stays still.
Why doesn't he move?
My eyes widen as I watch Silver grab the guy's hand, twisting it back painfully. The Griffin guy screams as he falls on to hard, cold ground. Silver launches a harsh kick on the limp man's body, Griffin, however, gets up, throwing himself at Silver once again.
The crowd screams, yelling the whole roof down.
Silver grabs him by the arm, throwing a hard punch on to Griffin's stomach, slamming him on to the ground. Silver moves on to holding Griffin into a choke hold, preventing the large bulky guy from moving.
I watch as the host of the fight count up to ten, as he reaches the number ten Silver drops Griffin. Standing up as if nothing happened, leaving the poor bulky guy to lay limp on the ground.
"The winner is Silver!" the host announces, holding up Silver's arm. All Silver does is scan the crowd, the numerous people watching him in desire. His fans seem loyal, holding up large signs and betting on him.
But Silver's eyes stop on me. They stay still, cold and un-withering. Maybe its someone behind me, there's no way such a fighter would spend a mere minute on looking at me, a high ranked fighter like Silver would never stoop to someone like me.
"Move hun, he's trying to look at me but you're blocking the way." I hear a girl say, she pushes me back as she stares at Silver who still didn't remove his gaze from me. Maybe he was staring at me, but why would he stare at me?
I can't help but smirk at the girl beside me, she thought he was staring at her, she treated me like someone who was blocking her way.
I sigh, looking at Silver who made his way out of the ring. Collecting a large envelope from the host of the fight, the envelope seemed rather thick and bulky looking. It must have money in it, that's how people like Silver earn money.
Elliot Grey must earn money the same way when he fights here, so that's how he earns his money. That's how he has the title as a king, his money from fighting made him the popular, hot nerd he is today.
But nobody knows he fights, they just know he's rich and a hot nerd.

I make my way out of the underground rink, walking up the stairs and out the door, there was really no reason for me to be there since Elliot Grey didn't bother turning up to fight. It frustrated me how I bothered to dress well to enter this club for no reason.
But seeing that Silver guy fight was entertaining, his moves were so sharp and profound, it felt like something new to discover, an experience I couldn't ever forget.
I notice the same guy who let me into the club, his eyes meet mine immediately. The streets were empty and the people in line we're all gone. So he really did wait for me, why did he wait for me? I sigh, ignoring his presence.
The guy pulls my arm back, I clench my jaw as I meet his eyes. "Where are you going love?" he hisses, before speaking more. "Didn't you want to have some fun after the fight?"
I throw him a sickeningly polite smile. "I forgot I had plans, maybe next time?" I lie, trying to get away from the guy but he doesn't budge. Instead, he pulls me closer towards me, looks like he doesn't get the message I don't want anything to do with him.
I throw my leg up, kicking him down there. He groans as he removes his arm away from me, I then quickly make my way far away from him. Bumping into someone I didn't expect to see, it was Silver.
His mask half on, a black jacket and casual jeans on. I widen my eyes before making my way past him but he grabs my wrist, preventing me from walking away from him.
"Do girls like you really do stuff like that to get into clubs?" he questions, his voice was like velvet, so smooth. But after hearing his words I scowl at him, did he really think I was going to do things with that guy?
"No, this was a one-time thing of getting into the club quicker so I could check out a certain person fight, but he wasn't there, what a waste of time, " I mumble bitterly, if only Elliot Grey was there.
Silver smirks. "You weren't here to see me fight?" his voice sounded luxurious, if only he didn't have a crappy personality I would've fallen head over hills for him.
"Of course I wasn't, I came here to see Elliot—" I pause, realising my mistake. What if Silver in front of me is a friend of Elliot, he could tell Elliot I was wanting to watch him fight?
Silver's smirk seems to grow deeper. "Elliot Grey?" he pronounces the name with such ease.
I stiffly nod my head, hoping he wouldn't tell Elliot I came here to watch him fight. "Don't tell him!" I blurt out, Silver just watches me in amusement.
"I won't." Silver says, walking off to the opposite direction. I glance at his figure slowly fading away, why did he look so familiar?
And that's when my jaw drops.
Silver is Elliot Grey.
