Chapter 2:A wild Goose in a new City

1765 Words
Lynn Campbell had been in Ski city for almost a week. After a busy day of shooting in the studio she took a cab back to her apartment watching the evening traffic build up, the roads were busy cars hooting, screeching of brakes, clanging of metals as shop owners closed down and others opened for business. The pedestrians walk ways were also packed with a sea of people walking in different directions after a day of lurching across the ticking time bomb called planet earth trying to survive through the day with no idea of when they’d drop dead, they were finally going to rest. But for others, the day had just began. The beautiful evening sun splashed a shade of yellow-golden rays on everything they fell on. It was beautiful to watch and it reminded her of her latest ex-boyfriend who used to take her out such evenings so that they could watch the sunset together somewhere on top of a hill back in Hillwood. The sad part however, their relationship ended in tears. Her tears and she swore not to fall in love again since it was clear as day luck was not on her side when it came to love and even the nicest of hearts have a breaking point. She became a wild goose, with her own money having fun was not that hard. "Excuse me, do you know any good night club around town?" She shyly asked the cab driver. "My guess was right, you're new" "So what sold me out?" "Looking through the window most of the time and the way you talk, with some respect most ski city working class are very arrogant as we force them to sit behind a desk all day" "Okay, am sorry for that" "You can try club seventy. It's the best, exemplary service, good music and there is accommodation and food" "Thank you for the Intel" The cab driver couldn't help but steal a few glances at her. She was worth staring at the whole day, her hair was copper-brownish, lustrous tacked behind her ears and cascading down her shoulders like giant water falls. Light skinned you'd think she used milk for lotion, twinkling bean-shaped eyes with a laser blue iris, velvet eye brows, monolith eye lashes, slanting nose bridge that opened up to two circular nose rings below them her thin feminine lips with lip gloss and a natural shade of red making them glow and scream "kiss me". Her neck was curved with necklines, shoulders stood up leaving a hollow scapular region on both ends. Her breasts were firm and of medium size showing a perfect V-shaped cleavage. She was pretty. No surprise she was a model. The thing is, she was probably way out of his league but the cab driver was one of those guys who believed you lose hundred percent of the chance if you don't try. "You're very pretty, you look classy too and rich am wondering why are you using a cab?" He deflected there and she noticed. It was not the first time someone random guy was telling her how pretty she was. To Lynn it was a daily occasion. "Am new remember" she said cracking a smile that got the cab driver even more charged. "Can we have a drink maybe or you got a boyfriend? You know, pretty girls like you don't go unnoticed for long, you got this high-end boys trying to get you" It was clear to Lynn that the cab driver had crossed his professional boundaries and he was now hitting on her. "I don't have a boyfriend, am not looking for one. Sorry, no to the drink" "Who hurt you this bad?" That's how he tipped her off, Lynn went into a rant without caring she was talking to a total stranger. "You don't want to know. Let's just say love sometimes doesn't work out for the likes of me. Every relationship I've been in I gave it my best, stayed loyal, submissive, supportive and what did I get in return? Being cheated on, being lied to, ooh it turns out the guy I was dating is married with two kids and beats up his wife neglects his kids so am the bad guy now, the other one was after fame he had to win a bet with his buddies...you know I realized none of them even made me happy more than I make myself happy" "Am sorry we are here, parting advice, don't give up. There is someone for everyone, someone better is out here so don't go on turning people down because of your fears and insecurities" "Okay, thank you. Keep change" she said giving him a two dollar bill. The driver looked at her as she quickly walked through the gates in her black stilettos. Wearing a purple jump suit that extrapolated her slim figure, showing her camel toe and her perfectly arched Heart shaped ass. He pitied her. And he was wondering, why did God make her that beautiful only for men to break her heart? Before he drove away she turned around and waved him off surprised he was still there. Inside her executive apartment Lynn turned on the music and undressed to her white slip panties and matching white strapless bra, dancing in the kitchen as she quickly prepared an omellete, toasted bread with black tea. Once in a while she would use the spoon like a microphone and sing out loud to Miley Cyrus's "Wrecking ball" then twerk her ass out to Nicki Minaj's "Anaconda" when it came on. She was just trying to create her own happiness. After cooking she went to the living room, switched on the TV to fashion channel. The dancing and fun Lynn was just the outside version of her. Inside she was lonely, so lonely that she was considering what if she was the problem in all her previous relationships? Was it just right to overlook some so annoying qualities in men to be happy with them? Perhaps she had set the bar too high, all men were the same insatiable dogs, cheating bastards, lying masters and very despicable human beings sometimes. It was time she held on to the one who treated her right. But who? She couldn’t tell between lust and his brother love. "Not any time soon" she said walking to the sink. She hit the shower. Stood under it allowing the water to hit her back in ripples before she grabbed a sponge and some soap, scrubbed her body clean and washed her hair. Ten minutes later she emerged sparkling clean, blow-dried her hair and applied lotion on her milky brown-skinned thighs down to her toes, then back to her neck on her hands and fingers to her chest her boobs and abdomen, touching herself brought that erotic feeling and before she knew it she was moaning softly biting her lower lip with her hands gently squeezing her erect n*****s. It had been long since she had s*x. She dropped her right hand to her well shaved kitty rubbing her clit leisurely, then she slid in her middle finger and screaming out loud with her other hand covering her mouth. She was about to add the index finger when her phone buzzed. Lynn groaned with disappointment, cleaned her hand with a towel before she picked up. "Hi mum" "You didn't call me today I was worried Lynn don't do that again" "Am sorry mum but I was about to call you. How's dad and everything" "Fine, your father is weeding the garden and trimming the hedges. Trying to keep himself busy you know" "And you?" "You know me kiddo, am a housewife" "Watching Telemundo I guess, anyway have fun mum I got to go" "Ski city is known for having handsome men. Am sure you can get one..." "Bye mum" she hang up quickly. Her mum just like every mother was worried about her daughter seeing no one at age 25. She made it clear she hated men even to her own mother. Lynn went to her wardrobe, settled for a sheath maroon cotton dress its length slightly above her knees, a pair of black peep toe shoes and an ancient Egyptian necklace. She applied some lip gloss and wore her expensive cologne, admired her pretty self in the mirror and cracked a smile of contentment. All she saw was beauty. She locked her apartment and put the keys in her brown leather purse together with her phone and credit cards. "Taxi!" She waved down a cab by the road side. The guy stopped in a halt and quickly opened the door for her. Turns out the appealing ones got extra service. "Where to angel?" Flirted the cab driver as he strapped into his seat belt. "Club seventy" "Great choice, its fun" Unlike the previous cab guy, this one was less chatty although he did much of the talking with his eyes. No offense there, Lynn was used to being the center of attention in every room she got in. The city was lighting up at night, LED lights of different colors, cars stuck in traffic forming a long unending convoy. It was hard to notice night time unless one looked in the dark skies with stars sneaking out spread all over it. "Thank you" Lynn said when they pulled over at the club, she paid him and walked to the club. Music waves were seeping outside. And as she made it past the bouncers it threatened to burst her cute little eardrums. The double doors opened to a tightly packed crowd of people, her eyes roved across their heads, some dancing to the lively tunes others just seated enjoying a drink. The rotating disco lights above the ceiling made the club glow with warmth. And the smell of beer, different colognes and sweat hit her nose in a wave. She squeezed herself through the crowd to the counter. "Hey beautiful, what can I get you" The stocky bar tender asked without looking at her. "Start me off on a martini" she said taking a free stool. He served her a glass and went back to serving the others. She had fun just looking at the others dance until her jam came on and she couldn't just sit there and do nothing. So she hit the dance floor, there was plenty of space for everyone. Without knowing it was a fate’s plot. She would lose herself and dance like she had never before and that particular dance would get someone’s attention.
