CHAPTER 7 SOPHIE I can't believe my luck. I mean...I know I should have been watching where I was going. But I wasn't expecting to bump--literally--into the man who's been on my mind more than I care to admit. Especially when he's off in his own little world, his tight hips making the most of the slow beat of the music. It's bad enough that I'm drinking enough bourbon to put the Prohibition era to shame. But now, to walk into the middle of a crowded dance floor, pushing away anyone who got in my way and not seeing anyone else but the man who turned my girly parts inside out... Well...It's embarrassing enough to say I'm falling to pieces—literally, my shoe giving way as my feet get tangled up in the train of my own dress. I don't know how I managed to come to a stop without crashing
