The usual sound of his grandfather’s roosters woke Zian up. He opened his eyes to the darkness in his room as he thought of the dream he had before waking up.
Like I would save him from falling off a cliff.
Zian got up with a bitter scoff.
It was the first day of his senior year in high school. Once again, he prayed he wouldn’t be in the same class as his old friend who never was – Alden Paul Valderama. He dreaded each start of school that he would fall in the same homeroom as him.
