COME BACK TO ME – CHAPTER 16
“Rio,” Ron said as he exited his relative’s house. He came to town to visit his mother’s aunt. He gaped at the sight of an old friend. He found himself rooted to where he stood as Rio, Elena, and Zian all came inside Elena’s house next door.
Ron felt himself ball his fists as he took a step forward. The way he ended his friendship with Rio did not sit right with him. All the time that passed without them talking made him more and more convinced he should make up with him.
Elena gave Rio a glance when the three of them entered her house. She knows Ron or Aaron from Rio. She met him when they were in high school. She also knows that her friend had a painful history with this guy. “You guys haven’t talked since that party?”
