By the time Ryker got back to his room, it was late afternoon. Mitch wasn’t with him. He’d gone for drinks with a group from the boat. He’d been surprised to see Janelle on the trip. But she’d paid him no attention and had seemed perfectly happy flirting with the unattached men. Apart from a single text from Alejandro, Ryker hadn’t heard from his lover. But since the walk they’d done had taken most of a full day, he could hardly be surprised that Alejandro might be too busy to do more.
